I told Nero support how the other number worked, and asked those to void the telephone number I was sent, and issue me another number. Their reply was which they dont issue replacement numbers, once again sent directions concerning how to install the upgrade. Im not looking to bash Nero, because Ive owned Nero since version 5; however their support stinks. My friend loves this software, and I probably would too, if I a good number that will make it work. I think the one person they've already in Support is Ismael, since every reply that I receive comes from him, and all sorts of he does is send directions on the way to install the upgrade. It was the most significant disappointment I have ever had with software. Nero Showtime stood a dial to skip ahead or reverse through scenes. The new Nero MediaHub just sucks. 1 They removed the dial to decide on speeds to plod through videos. Why? Nero Player is like Windows Media Player. Why? 2 I would copy DVDs to hard disks and play directly in Showtime. MediaHub can start to play DVDs from hard disk drive but a DVD should be in the optical drive so MediaHub can instruct its DVD Video page. A DVD file is usually dragged and dropped on the optical drive portion and MediaHub will likely then play it. This is stupid. 3 You can try to learn DVDs from your Videos page however it skips menus and doesnt allow you to choose chapters. This is stupid. 4 Vision Xtra is awful for an editor. I want to simply cut videos and add title cards and captions. Windows Live Movie Maker does that but Nero Vision cant keep it simplistic. Why am I wasting time learning to make use of this garbage? 5 Vision Xtra changed the colours of my videos. In playback on another computer as well as other video players, blues became orange and everything became beaten up. I do not have this problem with Windows Live Movie Maker. There is also another problems but I bought Nero to get a better player plus a better movie editor. Nero is neither. I havent tried Burning ROM, which I want to use, or BackItUp, which I dont intend to use ever. Nero Showtime once was the best DVD player. Now Nero MediaHub is compared to all the rest.
