The Download team is invested in providing you with accurate software information.If you ve experienced my tutorials maybe you have noticed I m kinda enslaved by Nik Software s Color Efex Pro 4. I may start the photo editing in Lightroom/Camera Raw, but I just about finish off every photo by entering Photoshop for a lot of quick retouching and removing distractions, after which hit the filter like a final stop. I ve seen that I have two custom recipes that I use every one of the time so I figured I d share em to you.
The first the first is something I increase a wide range of my sunrise/sunset photos. Or even to photos that I want to provide a warm feeling to. It pumps inside the color saturation a bit, also as adding just a little bit of a warming and softening effect and not blurry, a vignette and a number of other things. Here s one example photo where I used it.
The second one is something which just about every photo sees. It s a mix of a detail enhancing filter as well as a vignette. Here s one example of a photo I used it on.
1. Go in to Color Efex Pro 4, then go the Recipes section around the left side.
2. You ll see an Import button in the bottoom. Just click it and select these files be sure you unzip the file first so you re fine.
Shouldn t the beforeafter pictures be reversed?
Nope. I m keen on putting the great pic first. I figure the before/after designation really should be a good hint
