The only con I see is the volume of bloatware that HP installs in the factory. It took me about 4 hours to get rid of the optional non necessary programs but for your price, it is always worth it. There are no fingerprint readers and other security devices internal. The HP software suite gives a trial version of Norton Security, I removed that immediately and installed the always free Microsoft Security Essentials which I find quite adequate plus im cheap.
