The Office 2000 SR1a update is not any longer made available from Microsoft - something connected to a legal settlement reached in the lawsuit with Sun some a long time ago. So I had to turn to patching an original office setup files with all the administrators patch file. Since I never did that before I thought I would make note of the usb ports here:
Copy the complete administrative share or create a different administrative share on the Office installation into a directory Example c:/sr1.
Download the file found here. Edit: As noted here utilize direct url to because since I wrote this post it don't appears for auction on the download page. Then run the exe and extract the contents to c:/sr1
Open a cmd prompt, cd c:/sr1 and type the subsequent to update the initial release of office to get sr1 inside your administrative share. More info here. C:sr1 msiexec/p/a SHORTFILENAMESTRUE/qb/L
Now run a cubicle setup again and sr1 should get installed.
