Bought Office for Mac nearly a year ago, and everythings fine and dandy until MS, rolling around in its relentless wisdom, chose to update. In the present version of Powerpoint, everytime you hit the return key, you happen to be sent into Presentation Mode. Ive searched and searched, and apparently there isn't any fix. I am now migrating to Keynote, however it has its own hangups, and I want to be in a position to use this product I bought!!

The link provided by amazon to go into the key code didnt work - - It was for entering Office 2013 for PC. I got an oversight. Had to setup an account with Microsoft and chatted having a tech. Tech set it up another link, which appeared correct, because doing so said it was for Office for Mac. But I got an oversight that the real key code was invalid. When I attemptedto report back for the tech, who had previously been waiting inside the chat room, my response to her wouldnt SEND. The screen just sat there, regardless if I shortened your message. There was a button for the screen to develop the tech call me back. When I pressed that button, it worked and I gave my telephone number. Now, Im awaiting a call back. What a few nonsense - - and I do not have time correctly.
Amazon must get this straightened out with Microsoft, should they be going to remain selling Microsoft products. I will report back the outcome.

I bought my first Apple iMac a couple of months ago-made a decision to make the switch based around the Microsoft 8. Figured if I were required to learn something totally new, I should probably turn to Apple and find something which has a proven rating and many types of my friends were raving about. So, after I got on the basics, I needed Office for Mac to transfer all of my previous files. I purchased the download version plus it worked great-no problems or more and running within quarter-hour total. Very happy from it and I wish to view with the screen a lot better than the regular microsoft version. Highly recommended for people with Apple and want Word, Excel, Powerpoint.

Low rating has absolutely nothing to so while using SW, it will be the installation. I spent an entire afternoon wanting to download and install. I would not have my password and were forced to get a brand new one. I needed to wait for emails or Text messages being sent with special confirmation numbers. When I finally got the telephone number the install had timed out. Then if you've found yourself on number by the due date you have to obtain a mother for confirmation. Same problem. I finally found a vintage disc and installed the SW that old fashion way. Worked fine. Apple will likely be in my future, FOR SURE!

Microsoft sellers misrepresented this system despite my detailed questions. Tech staff delayed their responses until this product could not be returned. Based in my experience, I wont be investing in a Microsoft product before i write again. Suggestion? Dont spend money unless you have advanced level of knowledge, expertise within the product. If you need to eat using them, utilize a very, very, extended spoon, being a good friend of mine says.

The software does what it must do. the sole major complaint that I have is that about the Mac version. the startup loading is quite slow. more often than not when I close this program it actually freezes. I always need to force quit this system in order to properly close it. in addition to that its decent for what should do

A so named upgraded MAC computer no longer supported my Microsoft Office for MAC software. I had lost most of my e-mail messages, including some important documents. I was advised inside an on-line technical Chat session to acquire Microsoft Office Mac Home Student to exchange my e-mail software and retrieve my mail messages. The Microsoft Office Mac Home Student software that I purchased in Amazon didn't include the e-mail component that was the primary purpose for selecting the suite. I thought the suite included Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Entourage or comparable e-mail for MAC. I also thought I was also receiving a CD. Instead, I was given a code for downloading it, which failed to work. I contacted Apple tech support on-line for assistance and was advised that because I purchased the application from a third party vendor Amazon, Apple couldn't assist within the download. I was also told that this origin of the program was an out-of-country source which has a code that has not been compatible for in-country downloading. It was then that I was told that the program also failed to include the e-mail component from the suite. Total loss.

Im downloading Office for Mac 2016 and testing it now. Ive loved Excel for above a decade, and my favorite functions remain there-unlike in both OpenOffice or NeoOffice, which I tried off as well as on for three years before giving up about them. For basic use, I like Office for Mac 2016 up to I like the earlier Office 2003, which I still use via Parallels. If you should order this device and sadly, sometimes with compatibility you do need to, get the true secret. Do NOT download. The Amazon download will not work with Yosemite. You have to head to the Microsoft online site. And if you are attempting to do it using the link, for Mac, the Microsoft folks will HOSE IT UP beyond all recognition.
You are within a situation where, like a Mac user, you need that will put this garbage on your desktop. Do a favor and order the real key. Then you are able to manually download everything ant it's going to work. If you utilize automatic systems from Amazon to MS, such things as linking to accounts you dont have happen. Then the MS tech support, who will be morons, will do such things as deleting your key and sending you a brand new one for a PC.
Really, there is a Mac. Dont let Microsoft dork it with their system. Get a key and diy, it can actually be done properly and even with all the two day wait for mail, you is going to be ahead in the game.

Office for Mac happens to be the red-headed step-child at Microsoft. The 2011 version has been sufficient, however, for any few years in spite on the irritations it been on it should struggle to work with legal OS X filenames for instance as MS wants you to have Windows filenames etc - but it really was, as I said, sufficiently good.
With the alterations in place at Microsoft and need for revenue because PC market shrinks, I had expected updates which were worthwhile on this 2016 release for that Mac. What made it happen have? Nothing really - in truth less than nothing. This product will not be finished - they may be upgrading it via patches from time to time. Eventually 2016 for Mac will probably be ready in order to use, but it just isn't now.
Example: cant edit the toolbar icons. On one of my machines there is usually a print icon - on another no print icon two new copies, installed about the same day- why one vs another? Who knows. So printing using one machine: file, print, select around the other just hit paper icon. Add paper icon you say? Nope - cant do that. Not yet.
I wound up so frustrated with Office for Mac 2016 that I deleted it and went back to great old 2011. At least it really is complete also it works.
Save your cash until this device is ready. Maybe in 2016 because the name implies!

When it truely does work key word is when this system provides all you need for the home office suite. Unfortunately, this system is much too unreliable. It crashes constantly and I must reinstall. Technical support is really a nightmare experience, as it may be for the last 5 years. I am going back to while using free Open Office products.

It seems for being impossible to download. Amazon sends me to Microsoft, though the Microsoft website has sent me with an endless security loop of resetting my password that isn't going to seem to work. In the end I keep being deliver to a page that requests my telephone number but the web page will not seem to work. This is a total waste of my own time, and I do not know if I are going to be able to obtain a refund or have the ability to download the application. This is nothing beats my experience downloading other software.
