After playing around on this camera for just a week, I can cheerfully say that that is what Olympus SP570UZ must have been inside first place. I have 3 digital ultra-zooms, the Olympus SP-565UZ, the Panasonic FZ18, plus an older Kodak ultra-zoom when 10x optical zoom was the normal. The Olympus 565UZ carries a lot of noise once the optical zoom is set to their maximum at 20x and thats a disappointment because I mostly use the digital camera at 20x. Just got this camera recently but we have found my initial take. Ideally Id like to experience a camera which takes intelligent pictures without much guess much more auto mode. Some of my pictures in auto mode arrive out nice and others should come out blurry, even good light conditions. Any settings held in auto mode or scn mode are reset by simply changing modes or turning off the digital camera. So if you dont want to make use of iESP and want make use of spot focus instead, you need to keep resetting it every time. Settings will only be stored in P, A, S, M or video modes. Macros appear really nice. Zoom is fantastic, but they can loose focus in auto mode in particular when zoomed towards the max. The evf switches to lcd screen after each shot, so you need to watch it around the screen after each shot and not around the evf. When switching between scene modes, you need to go through a great deal of buttons and also you cant see how the style looks over the lens, instead the thing is that the integrated images representing each mode then it switches to your text description for every single mode. I miss finding the scenes about the dial and being able to determine the images because they appear while dealing with each scene. The feel plus the construction of the digital camera is excellent. If Olympus can just work for their user interface and also the auto intelligent mode, this camera can rock. Sometimes when you should take a simple shot, you need to rely about the auto mode.
