Let me present you with some understanding of two on the other versions from the game, and why these are passable.
Oregon Trail 1 would have been a very good classic game, nevertheless the DOS graphics is often a little too cartoony and blocky for people who have a more realistic experience.
Oregon Trail 4, a more moderen version is also not to ever shabby. However, you will find multiple explanations why its flawed.
1. It has 3 discs and requires one to switch discs when you advance through the sport.
2. It uses an old version of Quicktime that's needed to view most from the animations, which really add most from the life towards the game. Ive been having issues viewing those animations on my own XP computer.
3. One destination compared to Oregon Trail 2, as well as the experience doesnt vary a tremendous amount with each play.
Oregon Trail 2 would be the best version with the game plus a really good game overall. If you like adventure games, the freedom and challenge that the game gives won't dissapoint. In my opinion mafia wars greatly honors the Oregon Trail and those that traveled on it from the 1800s.

I played the bingo in school also it rocked! When you start out, you select names to your people and acquire lots of interesting circumstances to help you on your own journey. Then, you travel the trail! Along the way, youll encounter a great deal of different senarios, including sickness, injury, robbery, and disasters. Plus, you're free to hunt many different different animals that are actually native to that area. All in all, an incredibly awsome game, and really worth money.
