Id tested out PSPX but was hesitant in regards to the price tag, so I looked around much more and found PSP8 at under 30. I should agree using the other reviewers, if it is possible to get your hands on Paint Shop Pro 8 by Jasc, undertake it! While Adobes Photoshop and Macromedias Dreamweaver will be the industry standards in Graphics and Web Design, they're very expensive packages and the've a long learning curve.
Paint Shop Pro 8 comes with a bit of a learning curve but you happen to be getting an amazing value with the price now. There are newer versions of Paint Shop Pro but they can be no longer manufactured by Jasc. Its Paint Shop Pro 8 by Jasc that you'd like.
To compliment Paint Shop Pro 8, have the book Paint Shop Pro 8, Zero to Hero by Sally Beacham because this remains my record favorite How to book.

I do like whole process almost but find myself using Corel PaintShop Pro 13 more and even more and think I will sell this place.

whole process almost is great. I can a single thing that I can consider. My only limit is my understanding - -not the items inability. I use this for my photo editing and graphics editing. I dont recommend this to create christmas photo post cards with fancy borders, as there's only 1 christmas themed frame. nevertheless for anything else it is over adequate.
