I needed a Unicorn cake pan but no person had one, this became the closest I could find. I wound up just sticking a twisted sucker unicorn sucker within the cake to result in the horn. I just made this pony cake for my 5 years old granddaughters birthday celebration. I greased the pan with Crisco making sure for getting every part then floured the pan. I used chocolate fudge cake mix and it became available perfectly! I let the wedding cake cool overnight from the refrigerator. I have been decorating cakes for several years and think this one can be quite easy and fun to generate and can be a good one to get a beginner in the first place. For a large party, bake a huge base cake say for example a 14 inch round or possibly a double sheet and set the pony exactly top. We did ours slightly girlie in brown tones using a chocolate mane but made the bridle green and added some pink and purple flowers higher than the ear. I liked this pony. Shes perfect for playing with and young fans likes her. Its great when you really want a villain on your ponies. But she has a great deal of problems.
