I probably have something wrong I MUST be. but I have owned Pub. since way back when, several versions over time. I have a monthly task of developing a 1 page ad with high-res images, and my first attempts using the 2013 are only WAY too slow. Even if I compress the wonderful pictures, it will take upwards of 5 minutes to re-position a perception with stuttering delays, and extremely slow loading/formatting. - I have been repeating this same monthly part of 3 years using two different versions of Pub. Never having one of these issue.

I have Publisher 2010 and enjoyed it.
This upgraded without problem, nevertheless you would like I have a 20 years old computer the way this software runs. Everything you do, motionless your mouse to clicking submit, carries a delay of a single to several seconds. Its virtually unusable. I thought maybe there was a challenge with my machine, as I was developing a few other issues in other programs, so I re-formatted and did a clean install of all things from the operating-system up. Did it help? Nope. I am managing a Core i7 processor with 6 GB of RAM in a very 64 bit environment. No other program, including Publisher 2010 which I re-installed and today use has this issue. Id love my cash back.

I teach yearbook and I purchased Publisher 2013 to be effective on my schools yearbook while in your own home. Little did I know that it must be so slow and laggy with pictures that it must be completely unusable. At my school we've publisher 2007 which works perfectly fine while using exact same files and my computer is really a lot better than the cheaper machines that individuals use in class. Now I still have to figure on the yearbook in school and Im out nearly 100. Thanks for nothing Microsoft.

I been employed with Publisher 2007 and Microsoft Office products for many years and have been satisfied using the product. I downloaded this whenever we bought a new computer. There has never been I mean NEVER an occasion that while I was working on my small weekly project that the program hasnt crashed. It reduces and if I dont make sure you save anytime Ive designed a change, the data is lost. I have searched their help information and in many cases posted the issues on their blog, with no success.
I cannot believe Microsoft place their name on this system. I am very disappointed and may hesitate inside future to purchase Microsoft Office products.

Other downloads for software have gone smoothly but this installation is horrible. I have to contact Microsoft and having someone who are able to do something within a reasonable timeframe if disgusting. I have spent never ending hours during a busy time attempting to get the program I needed to get a publication for the retreat. I had to complete otherwise because I cannot load it. This week, I had a household reunion postcard that had been stored in my previous version of publisher on the different computer, so I cannot access it and had to perform the entire thing once again. I had the retreat after which easter break and have absolutely not had time for it to spend hours with Microsoft. I contacted them again yesterday by email and exclaimed I needed help resolving this matter. I was available after 6 eastern time. I have heard nothing from their website. I am totally, totally stressed and disgusted using this type of whole thing. I cannot get my money-back from Amazon and I cannot get help within a timely fashion with Microsoft. We manipulate Publisher for a long time in our office. I purchased this version being an update on Windows 8. The main reason I use Publisher is always to convert our newsletters and bulletins format to use on web. That feature has stopped being available since Publisher 2010 as I discovered. If you want to convert find something different.

Over many years Ive used many versions of MS Publisher and try to loved it. The 2013 version however is disappointing. There are many, many gripes I have on this version. I particularly dont like looking to change any picture; with Publisher 2003 you merely double clicked it also it took you right to a last directory you used, click on the new picture so you were done. With Publisher 2013 you might have to right click on the picture, select change picture, select change picture again, select browse and force it to search your local directory, find the new picture and after that without asking it puts a copy on the old picture off page and zooms out of the house to whole page view with the two old and new pictures selected. Terrible! What used to get quick is currently slow and laborious. Youll find yourself continuously zooming way back in to adjust the image you were working away at. There are no options to let down this awful feature off. I honestly regret purchasing this version of Publisher.

Microsoft Publisher 2013 will not be user-friendly because previous versions of Publisher. Im glad I still had Publisher 2010 on my own old computer.
