I probably have something wrong I MUST be. but I have used Pub. since way back when, several versions throughout the years. I have a monthly task of fabricating a 1 page ad with high-res images, and my first attempts while using 2013 are just WAY too slow. Even if I compress the photos, it will require upwards of 5 minutes in order to re-position a picture with stuttering delays, and extremely slow loading/formatting. - I have been repeating this same monthly job for 3 years using two different versions of Pub. Never possessing issue.

I have Publisher 2010 and enjoyed it.
This upgraded without problem, nevertheless, you would like I have a 20 years old computer the way this course runs. I teach yearbook and I purchased Publisher 2013 to operate on my schools yearbook while in your own home. Little did I know that it must be so slow and laggy with pictures that it's completely unusable. At my school we have now publisher 2007 which works perfectly fine with all the exact same files and my computer is really a lot better than the cheaper machines that any of us use in school. Now I still have to work about the yearbook at high school and Im out nearly 100. Thanks for nothing Microsoft.

I been employed with Publisher 2007 and Microsoft Office products for years and also have always been satisfied using the product. I downloaded this whenever we bought a brand new computer. There has never been I mean NEVER a moment that while I was working in my weekly project that it hasnt crashed. It in time breaks down and if I dont be sure you save each and every time Ive developed a change, the data is lost. I have searched their help information as well as posted the issues on their blog, it doesn't help.
I cannot assume that Microsoft take their name on the product. I am very disappointed and definately will hesitate inside the future to get Microsoft Office products.

Other downloads for software have gone smoothly but this installation is horrible. I have to contact Microsoft and achieving someone who are able to do something within a reasonable time period if disgusting. I have spent countless hours during a busy time seeking to get the software program I needed for just a publication for the retreat. I had to accomplish otherwise because I cannot load the program. This week, I had a family group reunion postcard that's stored in my previous version of publisher with a different computer, so I cannot access it and had to try and do the entire thing yet again. I had the retreat after which easter break and possess not had time and energy to spend hours with Microsoft. I contacted them again yesterday by email and said I needed help resolving this challenge. I was available after 6 eastern time. I have heard nothing from their store. I am totally, totally stressed and disgusted with this particular whole thing. I cannot get my a refund from Amazon and I cannot get help within a timely fashion with Microsoft. We used Publisher for decades in our office. I purchased this version just as one update on Windows 8. The main reason I use Publisher would be to convert our newsletters and bulletins format to be used on web. That feature is not really available since Publisher 2010 as I learned. If you would like to convert find something else entirely.

Over time Ive used many versions of MS Publisher try to loved it. The 2013 version however is disappointing. There are many, many gripes I have with this particular version. I particularly dont like attempting to change any picture; with Publisher 2003 you merely double clicked it and it also took you straight to your last directory you used, go through the new picture and also you were done. With Publisher 2013 you could have to right go through the picture, select change picture, select change picture once again, select browse and force it to search your local directory, simply select the new picture and after that without asking it puts a copy with the old picture off page and zooms out of the home to whole page view with both old and new pictures selected. Terrible! What used being quick has become slow and laborious. Youll find yourself continuously zooming back directly into adjust the photo you were taking care of. There are no options to let down this awful feature off. I honestly regret purchasing this version of Publisher.

Microsoft Publisher 2013 just isn't user-friendly as being the previous versions of Publisher. Im glad I still had Publisher 2010 in this little old computer.
