I could not understand to work, or adequately open older PDS files.
The formatting is proprietary anyway unless you export it to PDF or JPeg file formats. It hasn't been intuitive in my experience on how to obtain it to open and print in earlier Print Shop file formats. PDS
I believe I can do just what it does with software that is certainly more intuitive and natively saves files in universal formats.

I really havent found a very important factor I like about it program!! I purchased the program about an hour ago thinking it may be like Print Shop 23. Boy, that of a bad mistake. It is hard to utilize, there is absolutely no help category, graphics miss, Cant manage to import items from my old Print Shop Files. The only reason I upgraded for this version was that my older version hasn't been compatible with Windows 8.
This will likely be the final item I purchase from quite sure company.

Yet, when I copied this to my computer this Smilebox was grinning from ear to ear at me from both my taskbar and my desktops screen. What the hell, was one thing to cross my head!
I ve looked and searched over the whole box cover which the disk arrived in plus the word Smilebox appears nowhere on for either. I m also noticing that this bar code about the cover is really a taped on barcode that s taped on top from the original barcode.
When I first placed this product in my computer, even Microsoft was sending me a request asking me for you them a written report. I find the program confusing to utilize. I have used The Print Shop for many a number of have always enjoyed it. But this place is so different. I will apply it as my The Print Shop 23 is not going to work in Windows 8.1, that one does, but I do get a few glitches from it. I make all of my cards to see relatives and friends onto it. It isnt bad, just changed much from Print Shop 23.

Ive used Broderbund Print Shop since 1990 with complete satisfaction. This version leaves the sides of print fonts slightly fuzzy and distorted. It is unusable!

Broderbund was previously an awesome company BUT they've definitely gone all the way down the toilet!!! Program will NOT load AND there is NO support services-NONE! They offer you a phone number and it also warns you there is really a 30 minute wait, it can be more like 45 minutes, next the reps are far too lazy to aid, say I will email an update and hang up! The update doesn't work, that you are faced with another long wait for an additional pair lazy, incompetent jerk that's rude and will be offering nothing and will not give that you simply refund! I have bought Broderbund products the past 15 years, it's got changed for your worst! STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU ENJOY LOSING MONEY, AND DEALING WITH UNLESS JERKS ON THE PHONE!! WOW! I AM IN DISBELIEF!

We love our customers and would not treat them inappropriately in a fashion on the phone.
I was disappointed in this particular product. I bought it as a consequence of oversize printing ability, but a majority of other features situated on earlier versions aren't improved and are even if it's just available. The open project menu provides a choice to load projects expressed by earlier versions, much less. I was not capable of open some of my projects developed by PrintShop 23.1. To add another headache I am not capable of print my projects. It does not give you an oversight message, it shuts down this course.

The new Print shop is significantly harder to negotiate and I don't especially like it. I cannot do a lot of things I did within the past. Read more
If that you are buying this as your old Printshop Deluxe wont work on your own new system, beneficial money. It is nothing can beat, nor is appropriate for, previous editions of Printshop. Read more
Disappointed with this Printshop version. Compared to your older version, this can be more complicated and it has less options.

Frustrated by Print Shop 23s problems under Windows 7, I ordered The Print Shop Deluxe 3.0 direct from Broderbund. The redesign attempts are wonderful; it acts such as a Windows 7 native. Except for just a few things:
In windows 7 64-bit, it crashes about three or four times by the hour. Even something as simple as start a fresh project completely from scratch can allow it to become crash. I never did bring even one project to completion before losing it inside a crash.
In Windows 7 32-bit, it won't instead it provides spurious away from memory error message about three or four times every hour, and complete the operation. This is with a 4 GB machine broke else running, simply one project open!
If you employ a type height and width of 125% or larger in Windows 7, you'll not be capable to see or click on your entire Print Shop screen. It erroneously assumes that it can utilize the space behind the device taskbar! Of course, as you may be competent to see the space behind parts in the taskbar, you cannot simply click it. The largest type size that sort of works in 120%.
There are also the usual assortment on random bugs in software that may be released prematurely. For example, selecting clip art or photos only works after you've selected a photo or clip art. It takes about 5 tries before the first selection takes; the idea works correctly about 80% in the time.
Broderbund Support is excellent about allowing you to submit a request Tech Support or Customer Support. Unfortunately, after a fortnight, they've not answered ANY of my four requests.
This software adjusted September 2011 is fantastic for masochists. The rest of us can have to wait for your first bug fix as well as second.

Ive used print shop programs for a long time. So when we got a brand new computer, I thought we would upgrade for the newest. I didnt read reviews b/c I like their items. I havent even finished my first project b/c you cant copy and paste things as well as its just hard make use of in general. I havent heard some thing from tech support or customer care. I was hoping theyd just let me utilize next older version but I havent have been told by them. Very frustrating!

I suggest that if you don't have a lot of patience, you delay until whole process almost is debugged. It is totally dysfunctional. I purchased it within the release date of Aug 23 and also have been struggling to print anything from it. It crashes, locks up, and is not going to print. Giving it a print command closes this program and it wont start properly again without having a system reboot. Broderbund/Encore developed a severe mistake by releasing miracle traffic bot in such a poor state. They say theyre focusing on I wouldnt hold my breath waiting with the cure!

It is actually difficult to review something which you cant do anything with. Im running windows7 with 64bit and having in regards to the same difficulties as all from the other reviewers. I downloaded this supplement directly convinced that I couldnt go wrong to the price-wrong! It doesnt apparently matter what I simply click because it crashes whenever. One time I managed to start a blank project and in some cases managed to import one file picture with it but which was it! As soon as I experimented with import any graphic images, all I could have you ever gotten was a server error. I was unable to start any headline text, so I experimented with enter plain ol text and after that I couldnt edit it in every way. After reading other reviews, I havent even attempt to contact customer care. Maybe theyll eventually provide updates/fixes, but I wont hold my breath and I certainly wont be purchasing any Print Shop software from the future. Shame, because there would be a day once this company produced some good software, make sure I can keep my XP going around the other computer, Ill keep using that old reliable stuff.

Like another people who reviewed the product it keeps crashing. And crashing. And crashing. I didnt buy it at this point. Instead I bought it through the company itself being a download and possess asked for just a letter of destruction. Twice. So However, Im here to critique the product rather than the manufacturers LOUSY customer satisfaction, arent I?
They attemptedto make it resemble Office 2007/2010. It does however it wont stop crashing. I tried it on the 2 week old machine along with an 8 month old machine. Both run Windows 7 premium home, 64 bit. Both handle other creation software without problems. When it didnt crash 1 time I did produce a project. There became a slight problem: it only saved PART of my project. That was rather irritating.
I also dont attend to their search methods. It isnt specific enough.
As my title says I keep wondering who their developers are. I wrote an evaluation on another merchandise that also had issues. Its almost as whenever they dont beta test their software enough or merely ignore feedback.
If I had the cash, ability, back-up and resources Id create my own, personal product and shut their business down because rather than getting better, theyre getting worse.
Wake up Encore/Broderbund! Your reputation stinks!
