Ive been using Print Shop for many, decades, primarily to make cards and note cards. Ive upgraded as upgrades became available and already upgraded from version 20 to version 21 deluxe. I also use Norton A/V that is around for decades and is at very widespread use.
It appears that the two are almost terminally incompatible. PS v. 21 has numerous projects which might be only available on the web and must be downloaded. There are many of these within the Printed Greeting cards and constitute all with the projects from the Photo Picture Cards and also the Creative Touch cards.
Although, with the price charged with this software, EVERYTHING SHOULD BE ON THE CDS AND SHOULD NOT REQUIRE ADDITIONAL DOWNLOADING, when downloading is tried, you'll receive the message The online server can't deliver the file.
When you search their nearly non-existent tech support section, to get a solution, that you are told It has been found out that certain software security systems don't allow communication regarding the computer and Broderbunds file servers. I have owned and used all printshop versions. This could be the worst out in the box. I purchased version 21 for epson r300 printing this also is the only thing that works well. When I aimed to merge addresses having a card project, this system crashed. The solution inside the knowledge base didn't work. After 2 request over 14 days, I received a communication that informed me that they would not at this time possess a solution. The work around ended up being print labels without pictures. The sole purpose in this program is usually to print labels with pictures. I finally reinstalled 20 so as to print lables with picture with addresses. There were other problems and again the solution inside the knowledge base failed to work.
This acts as being a beta version. It appears to be released prematurily .. Support is terrible. Wait to get a later version of 21 which hopefully fixes these complaints.
This may be the worst print program I have ever used. I had 20 and loved it however it was misplaced. The box says everything on 21 that happen to be impossible because you might have to get a hold of the images, the majority of them, in the internet and gee, you know what! They are impossible to download! I am totally dissapointed and angry. Also you can't get assistance from Broderbund. There is not any such thing as support services there!

I designed a calendar and experimented with print it. After weeks of trouble-shooting, I finally got one of their snotty techs to share with me so it was normal for just a one-page document to deliver 500MB valuation on data to your printer. Good luck getting that to figure. My calendar file sends 3GB not MB towards the print spooler. I have managed a work around only because I have worked being a computer tech for almost all of my entire life, however it takes me THREE HOURS to print a 12-page document over a laser printer. This program isn't even really worth the space it requires up inside garbage can!!!
Hi, I purchase PrintShop mainly because it was first concieved over a dot matrix printer. I recently bought 21 Deluxe upgrading from 20, primarily because 21 said which you could do borderless printing, go to find out, on condition that your printer supports it. Nonetheless, When I check out print something, you will need about 5 minutes because of it to print. It sends a tremendous file to my HP printer and stands there til its wanting to print. Its very annoying as PrintShop 20 never had this concern. I dont realize why, in publications shop, you are unable to change the margins, i cant stand most of my projects which has a white border around them. I do love print shop and its particular ease of they need to operate on their programs much more before they're released.
Its getting more difficult to find a piece of software that actually works the way it should. Broderbunds offering sure isnt it. There is absolutely no reason for just a program such as this to lock up using a P4 with 3.0ghz and 128mg video and 1gb memory that's less than a yr old.
And the location where the hell is Broderbunds tech support??? Moreover, where is Broderbunds website? Where is Broderbund? Are they still operating? Helllllooooooo? Anyone on the market?

This applications are lousy. I used printshop 5.0 and it also was so easy.
Ive been trying for several days to save my stuff to files, using my documents folder, and also the my projects folder when they suggested etc. and everytime it wont open the files or I cant discover them so I keep needing to start from scratch. When I save it into a folder on my own desktop it says I have to work with Printshop to spread out it. So how am I supposed to save lots of it over a disc and print it somewhere else or send it via email??
This is by far the most un-user friendly software I have ever used. And the book is useless. It doesnt even inform you what each on the discs are for.
Unless your an expert at with all the recent versions of Printshop already I would try to get a package which is easier to work with.

The above product I received was excellent and proved helpful with my Windows XP, however, I recently purchased a different computer with Vista Premium coupled with a little difficulty programing it into this method. It did however work I am happy with it.

My beef is the fact that a lot of what used to be inside the box is on Broderbunds I-net site. Besides them asking that I get it and how I use it I have make use of dialup slow to obtain graphics etc. also it just isnt really worth the price. Want to make use of an acceptable product at their store, I recommend PrintShop aint perfect however its way prior to PS21 Deluxe. Im about to return this if I can.
I needed your house publisher program for my newer computer and I were built with a decent exposure to PrintShop on its much earlier versions. The packaging was awesome, teling me what I are certain to get and what I are able to do. The price was excellent. I was sold. Then it happened. Greeting Card design and many project designs temp plates were limited, if you do not buy much more about line; printing they right didnt happen after numerous attempts and wasted cards. Most of all, the mail merge application will crash this system. It doesnt work, and also the tech support was limited, but did confirm Mail Merge doesnt work, and crashes this system, TS offered an alternate method for getting around it, but limiting each of the creativity you ought to be getting which has a publisher program. In truth I havent tried another projects, as I had enough frustration. I am mailing it back hoping for the refund or an alternative solution working program.

I recently purchased Print Shop 21 from Having shopped the product, I decided on because I could trust in their standing behind their product if there was a challenge.
I chose Print Shop 21 because I had used Print Shop 22 previously and was pleased by using it. When I received the item within a timely manner I downloaded it and had problems printing both parties of a card.
I contacted plus they were quick to convey I could ask for a refund at any time. I did learn my error in printing each side and did keep my Print Shop 21. The person I communicated with - Shane with Bargain Basement - can't have been more accommodating.
It was on account of on-time delivery, good packaging, finding yourself in A-1 condition, and Shane with the Bargain Basement which has a wonderful attitude and communication skills- that I would quickly get back to for my next purchase.
I purchased this for my significant other who does church bulletins among other projects. She stated it is great but she hasnt mastered all this system yet. She said it is often a big improvement over PS 2 and uses it exclusively for everyone her printing needs. Highly Recomended

I purchase this software to get a year or so now, mostly to make cards for friends. I previously used Printmaster, which contained considerably more supporting data artwork, etc.but had not been so friendly in the event it came to print output. Print Shop requires a lot more outside input for graphics.
Have tried in vain to produce a calendar; all goes well soon you try to enter text inside text box. The tutorial doesnt direct you towards that navigation. Otherwise, I would have stood a beautiful calendar to deliver to loved ones.
