I think its funny how people write reviews from todays perspective. With many modern games and modern equipment, its hardly surprising when farmville purchased today don't functions properly on our computers or measures up to your standards we have now with the technology and graphics we like.
However, I remember playing this as being a kid. It was certainly one of my favorite games, in conjunction with Spectre and many types of of those classics. Finding this really brought me back in those typing lessons with huge Apple computers the dimensions of a filing cabinet. I got mafia wars as I ordered originally putt putt joins the circus but there is a damage and accidentally received a humongous classics collection which included the game. I beat the bingo in under 10-20 minutes. My first Putt Putt game was Putt Putt enters the race that has been probaly at the least 3 times as challenging.

My grandkids play mafia wars and Putt Putt visits the circus over well as over again. They all started playing it when about 5 yrs of aging, and in addition they still act! Yes the graphics are primitive to some degree, however the puzzle is exactly what entrances them. Mom, Dad and Grandparents also can sit and help the miscroscopic ones using this. In fact, Grandma/Grandpa, test it yourself first! LOL. Its fun.

The plot didnt seem as involved as Race or Zoo which has an excellent song but the kids spent a large amount of time with this one. Putt-Putt is quite interactive, requires some logic problem solving, and is run on older PCs therefore the kids arent on your own machine each of the time.
