1. The aesthetics are simply perfect, except I wish the star wasn t stretching since which says sprite rather than crayon drawing. I was thinking maybe it ought to just be redrawing itself that has a yellow crayon since its animation rather than stretching like that it d fit the theme better, however be actively drawing focus to itself.

I originally intended to produce it a redrawable star, but I went to the stretching because it turned out easier to do Now that you just mentioned the fact it doesn t quite fit in the sport, I kinda feel bad for my laziness. I ll put this on the list of what to fix, if I ever develop a new version on the game.
2. That s an intriguing point. It s genuine that the thin boxes are more robust and that s why drawing them should be much harder. But I added the fishing line drawing because I thought your chance of thin boxes is usually really frustrating should you don t enjoy a stable mouse hand. And I wanted to have the drawing of objects as easy as possible given it s the interface, not the sport, in order for the puzzles weren t about drawing, but regarding the physics.

Erik: I m glad you enjoyed the execution. The reason why some objects are become rectangles along with stay like they're is an technical one. I wanted the objects towards the stay where did they were drawn, but this posed some problems. If you draw a L - shape the thing would become an box, however the shape can be completely different. So the solution ended up being convert the shapes that don t correspond a box enough to some perfect box.
This is basically impressive! One on the best minigames I ve ever played. Really nice design and wise decision of music. I wish I had something constructive to convey, but I m exit of my league here. I ll be keeping this in this little harddrive.

Wow, it s really just totally awesome and delightful, great work!
1. The aesthetics are simply just perfect, except I wish the star wasn t stretching since that claims sprite rather then crayon drawing. I was thinking maybe it needs to just be redrawing itself having a yellow crayon as the animation as an alternative to stretching doing this it d fit the theme better, however be actively drawing awareness of itself.
2. I didn t realize you might draw 1 line in the beginning, and I think that it was slightly incrementally more fun like that, wanting to draw thin boxes with all the mouse. It added a bit bit of an really subtle dexterity action component for the puzzles on some in the levels, wanting to hurry but nonetheless draw a thin box. Not too much to become frustrating, but enough it s interesting, and it also makes long thin boxes much harder to make, which is usually a kinda cool feedback loop because they re more efficient in some sense.
But, again, it s just really marvelously delightful! Thanks quite a bit for making it!

1. You re right regarding the stretching star, being a certain amount of place. I originally intended to create it a redrawable star, but I went to the stretching because it had been easier to do Now that you simply mentioned the fact which it doesn t quite fit in the overall game, I kinda feel bad for my laziness. I ll put this blog on the list of what you should fix, if I ever make a new version on the game.
2. That s a fascinating point. It s factual that the thin boxes are more robust and that s why drawing them should be harder. But I added the fishing line drawing because I thought your chance of thin boxes is usually really frustrating in case you don t use a stable mouse hand. And I wanted to increase the risk for drawing of objects as easy as possible since it s the interface, not the action, so your puzzles weren t about drawing, but regarding the physics.

One of the best games in my view. I love the experimental gameplay, the tunes, aesthetics, my way through it just fits the theme so well. A great one on your tenth game, and I agree together with the above comments. All it needs is usually a few more levels, or it could be an unlockable playing mode.
Come to think about it, Crayon Physics reminds me a certain amount of Chalk by Joakim Sandberg. So many good indie games released nowadays.
Keidas: Thanks. It s nice to listen for that it is one of my best games, because the last one Daydreaming from the Oval Office was among worst ones I m glad to know that the theme worked, as it s an extremely different style of theme for me personally.
I noticed Chalk while I was taking care of the game. I think Joakim did an incredibly great job about the drawing gameplay there, I was really impressed together with the simplicity and fun of computer. It s an interesting coincidence that individuals both released our games so near each other.
Also, I think I ve noticed a smaller bug from the Load Level menu. It sometimes enables you to play the next phase, even in case you haven t unlocked it yet. This happened after I resetted the amount I was stuck in, but I couldn t replicate the bug, thus it s propably nothing bad. Just shown to inform you anyway.

Keidas: It s not much of a bug it s a characteristic I decided to place the load menu there, to assist who get stuck in certain level, to enable them to try out additional levels at the same time. So you are able to load any level whenever you want.

smelly: Thanks to your comments. If I get the extent editor done, then there probably will probably be few new levels. But for now I can t promise anything.
The free form shapes could be interesting, however are a bit of any challenge to create from your technical stand point.
I used bugs inside the physics to unravel a bunch from the puzzles, meaning I drew overlapping boxes and allow solver push them apart to produce shapes and movement that I wouldn t happen to be able to build just by letting things drop. I found this enjoyable, in case it wasn t one of your respective design goals you could put some thought into that. At least one person I spoke with got frustrated while using game and I think it s because they experimented with play it right as opposed to making a big mess of things.:
