I have Win ME OS with higher quality mobo Gigabyte GA7VAXeverything fast!!. I got freebie old 8x 4x 32x Sony CDburner from my buddy fixed and cleaned it and works fine. Using Roxio EasyCD 5 plus it burned my CD-R disk in to a costers!! and yes it popped error message. I use CD-RW disk save my s to check run itsame-o Steamed!!!I uninstalled it and reboot the device. I got Error message on desktop but ignore it and it also goes away. I decided to test Nero Ultra 6.0 and yes it works wonderfully with my old junkie CDburner. Intresting, Nero after first installation warned me that my CDburner is wrong IDE port. So I moved the Cdburner to IDE 1 Slave plus it finally reconized Sony CRX140. Seem to me that Roxio dont inform you anything why's that they dont improve all things considered those complaint!! Now that Roxio owns Napster!!?? sheesh! Wish Nero owns it!! Is Roxio working to make themself stand out publicity while their software down to your dumpster!??

Ive not had any on the issues some individuals have reported. I installed an ancient vcr to my Windows 7 laptop. Installation was simple, no glitches. When I opened this program and pressed play within the vcr, it took of a 5 second delay therefore the recording showed up inside the main screen area. It could not be easier to work with. Im saving the files to my pc for editing and in all probability will not burn the crooks to dvd. The editing software programs are also intuitive-just some simple cuts/edits and zilch fancier. Exactly what I needed because of this task, as I have Adobe Premiere for further extensive editing. The picture quality and audio quality were as effective as the original. Love the product! I was skeptical this would work well reading reviews of earlier versions, but this device is easy make use of and works wonderfully.I am in means of converting some 25-year plus old home videos into dvds, despite some in the tapes being deterioated it makes an incredible quality dvd copy with the tape. I have even archived some old comercial tapes, they may not be available on dvd and I think this is a legitimate by using this its capturing the signal from your vcr after its decoded the macro vision is bypassed. The product has some problems but works. If you could have a pause within you VHS the offer will finalize your DVD to soon. I have wasted several DVDs due to your pause from the old family shot VHS tapes I am copying. The program should allow you to decide ought to finalize or perhaps give additional time than it does. Dont buy this device. Its not the Easy VHS to DVD is the fact that bad it is the Roxio Corel customer care. I have 2 of these darn things. The first on worked, with many minor skipping, until I formatted my disk drive. I had lost my driver disk and may not find the driver downloaded from Roxio. After about 6 months of trying to get this done and getting NO assistance from Roxio I finally eliminate and forked out another 75 for that newest version. The old one skips sometimes so I thought the upgrade could well be worth it. I could not have access to been more incorrect! The an alternative one doesnt work. It works for any minute or two next the screen turns blue. I still receive the audio, though the picture fades. The good news is which the old one works with all the new drivers. But I had paid 75 to the newer product I wanted for getting my money from it. I contacted Roxio and on the get go I have been in the run around. Every couple of times when you attempt to get these to replace or repair my device they'd email me telling that since I we had not contacted them these folks were closing my case. I sent them pictures of screenshots and tried a number of things that I was told to perform. Nothing worked. I wanted to mail it for them so they could check it - within my expense- and was told no. I guess then they might have to admit it was broken. It was so obvious that this intention on the beginning was to operate me around until I lost the battle. I did. I emailed my case worker with my frustration and gave them a tight schedule ahead to shut the case because I could see that I wasnt going to obtain my device repaired. If a company cared in any respect about their customers I would feel that knowing that someone on the market purchased your products and couldnt apply it you would you must do everything you could to acquire it being employed by them. I have read some on the other reviews and chosen to write this to add towards the plus side. This could not need been any easier to make use of. Received Roxio Easy VHS to DVD3 Plus on 10/08/12. downloaded software without the need of problem but my desktop wouldn't recognized the recording capture device. I also loaded through to my laptop and same issue. You can only get tech support with email, after 2 days got a result and was instructed if patch cable were connected right. Come on red plug to red plug, white to white and yellow to yellow? after waiting every day I was expected to check my system device manager were I found it device has not been recognized. Next day plus a half answer delete Roxio device from device manger and download an internet based driver. How can I delete the Roxio driver if this does not appear. anyway reloaded motorist and still doesn't work. I have written to aid that I have tried these fixes on two computers, Maybe the playback quality device is defective. finally after 11 days I get a email from support that maybe it is not working and I should narrow this right down to verify. As today I am not able make use of this product, I can not realise why they just dont offer to exchange it device for a brand new one in lieu of waste their and my own time to see if defective.
