I had used an old version of Peachtree for quite some time and was perfectly satisfied with it. But when I got a brand new computer running Windows 7, it will no longer worked, so I needed to buy a current version of Peachtree.
First, a Peachtree customer care rep explained that the the actual version of Peachtree won't recognize or convert my old data. So 13 numerous business records will be lost.
Then, when I experimented with load Peachtree Complete Accounting 2012, it may not install. The error message read: To install Sage Peachtree, at the very least, you need one in the following os: Windows XP SP3, Windows XP 64-bit SP2, WIndows Vista SP1, Windows 7 Home, or Windows Server 2003 SP1.

When I finally got to someone, he laughed and said to install SP 3.5. Only there isnt any SP 3.5 for Windows 7. I did install every Windows update available, rebooted my computer, aimed to install Peachtree and came up using the exact same error message.
Then I attemptedto get tech support via online chat. The message said, you're number 4 inside queue, average wait time is four minutes. Some 45 minutes later, I finally got to someone. You must setup a vendor for every individual that you will write a check mark to. You can also setup vendors when you happen to be writing checks or entering invoices.
