Version 6 is often a much improved page layout package over version 4. Again my only complaint with Serif is constant new versions rather then upgrading existing software. However using the price point it doesnt seem unreasonable, annoying however, not unreasonable. I use quite sure to layout my books also it does a good job. I do recommend it.

In a younger review, now deleted, I were unsatisfied with delivery problems which may have since been resolved. Now I am very happy to report that I have the item successfully installed, and possess begun with it in earnest. In brief, I am quite happy with this particular software, even impressed!
Prior to obtaining Serif PagePlus X6, I had used Microsoft Publisher 97, learned Adobe InDesign CS and CS2 and enjoyed Scribus 1.4.1. Performance and features improved eventually. Serif PPX6 just isn't exception fot it rule. Since most men and women naturally compare it with industry standard InDesign, I will contrast PPX6 simply with Adobes previous offering IDCS.

Unlike the entire version of PagePlus, PagePlus Starter Edition isn't going to allow the development of documents over five pages. It doesn't include high-level publishing features much like the ability to import, edit and export PDF documents. It will not include color management or studios for extracting and enhancing images. Nothing works despite if registration - I tried signing out and way back in. Does not work. Templates other considerations all cost extra income.
What a complete waste of time. I expected for just a free download things could be restricted but I didnt expect this kind of hassle. I registered but I still couldnt use anything. I just necessary to do 1 simple flyer with this computer. Thought Id find out if it was superior to Publisher. Definitely not. Couldnt even experience an easy project competed. Probably one of several worst set ups Ive encountered.
Goodbye MS publisher and MS office. I switched up to Kingsoft office and needed a publishing program. Theres few out there but Serif has what you will need. They do employ a window that requires buy the upgrade but thats not an issue. Anymore whenever you download a software program you must take the time and un-check that which you dont want like other tool bars etc. This program would it all no matter what you've to make.
It looked like that it was just what I wanted.
The program was exactly what I was in search of. I designed my first poster and was thrilled with how easy it turned out.
Because my HP printer didn't have the required large font driver and after searching HP for it thought it was wasnt readily available for my printer, I was struggling to print my masterpiece. SO I have since uninstalled it.
If you don't own or have entry to a new HP printer, dont bother.

This is yet another one of Serifs programs that I manipulate for about 20 years. I have also used some other publishing programs this also one has always been inside a class above them, and yes it is cheaper. It incorporates a great word processor which checks document for spelling and grammar. It also carries a limited photo editing program. I ought to have added that I have always had the pay version, rather than the free version.
I wrote this review of a year ago and I still not seen any programs that even approach put in quality. Ive used MS-Publisher inside past, plus it does not even come close towards the features and ease of the program. It handles every pushing job that I can consider, including web page/site creation and publishing.
One drawback is each annual update gets more expensive.
The download here seems as if it might be an incredibly old version. Serif comes out having a new version on a yearly basis based on customer suggestions.

I hold the version you only pay for and I have previously made my a reimbursement times 20 doing designs for people for instance Menus and ads. This program is so all to easy to use and there's pretty much no limit to what you may design. Will be purchasing there Webplus program next and upgrading on their Pageplus X6.
