As quite a long time Photoshop user, I was searching for a competent replacement as I am don't involved in the job role that mandates having access for the latest Adobe CC offering. Adobe CC is great-but I certainly dont need to waste 120 each year just for Photoshop and Lightroom 10 30 days for Adobes lowest package offering, there are competent replacements to the other Adobe products that do not require a subscription.
Having used many of Serifs products within the past together a good experience, I took the possibility on PhotoPlus X6, believing that it should be competent to duplicate almost all of what I was in search of.
For the projects I work with I am most thinking about non-destructive filter and layer effects. In terms in the raw features I need, PhotoPlus X6 hits most from the major checkboxes-non-destructive effects for bevel, dropshadow, saturation, contrast, color balance; a fair assortment of brushes; capacity to do without headaches pattern stamping. The interface is mostly within the same vein as Photoshop, which is often a plus, since its what Im familiar with, so I felt in the home almost immediately deploying it.
As long when you approach your usage of the program at a reasonably casual viewpoint, the app shines. Quick adjustments, a crop here or there, a small content replacement there, and everything works and runs reasonably smoothly.
However, as soon while you start to push the envelope by any means, things dont go so well. First, I wouldnt recommend attempting to complete anything with images bigger than 10 megapixels, simply due to your speed on the rendering engine. Ive used the offer in several versions over the past few years. Im not a specialist photographer but I do lots of photography and have absolutely found this program to perform all in the functions I need as well as its reasonable to understand. For the price it can do a great job of editing photos. As for your registering its been a great deal personally I get half price upgrades and perhaps they are a very easy company to obtain help from.

Crashy, quirky, poor work Dont waste your dollars! I removed it from my system and purchased the most up-to-date Photoshop Elements which can be much more intuitive with significantly better features.
