After using cakewalk software for decades I had to finally let go from the hopes that they can would create products which worked properly.

i dowloaded the demo they provide you with, that stuff they deomonstrate isnt in that room, not only that this trial version sucks, i couldnt even have the vst to function rite, configure the audio and midi a pain from the ass, i installed the edirol sound card only problems, i'd to use asio4 freebie and if you are trying to load a drum wave file in the first place you cant set it up the program wont allow you to install wave file when you initially open this software, it is junk sonar take your service and shove this your AAAAAAAAA

Hi guys I have a yamaha MG166c-usb mixer but cant indipendantly record tracks inside a multitrack ssession, just 1 stream for every one of the band t edit afterwards. The purpose is to make use of all 16 tracks for the Live recording thats comming up.
I tried: Adobe Audition 3, 2 and 1; Cubase AI4, SX3,
Any Suggestions using a specific recording Software that could work because of this with my mixer interface please inform me.

I have already been trying to convert all of my old cakewalk midi files and synced analog tape tracks to Sonar bundled files. After first loading and converting that old cakewalk files to Sonar, I run the tape eventually code and record the tape tracks into Sonar. On playback, the music run faster versus the midi tracks. I have some clues towards the problem, but havent found a fix. Any help in existence?

2 Different comp with some other internal clock speed so make use of the same comp when u mix down.
4 If none of the above work then try Sonar 2.

I am a solo musician currently using pro audio 8 to experiment with back midi backups. I was told through cakewalk a foot controller would not use pro audio 8 but would help sonar.
I only require basic functions play, stop, loop, etc. Im running from my laptop into a roland xv2020 sound module. Has anybody in existence done this?

Can u drag the files on to your computer desktop. Maybe even mix into one track in cakewalk then drag to desktop.

Open console view and then click on one with the small buttons higher than the slider. This allows panning being manual as apposed to automatic, which seems to become the default.
so far I cant manually I dont use whatever small buttons on top of the volume slider in which the panning knob and what is automatic panning anyway? cheers if you may get me I have Sonar 8.5 loaded on same not an issue panning

Just upgraded hah, hah. New machine. New Sonar Version suckered engrossed by them offering discount over a plugin extension pack.
Wont load video. Wont work effectively with video after Id looked for and got vacation drivers. Crashes each of the time.
I reverted to Sonar X1 still on windows 7 over a much faster PC with over double the memory. Yet it can be HIDEOUSLY SLOW.

After using cakewalk software for many years I had to finally let go with the hopes that they can would create goods that worked properly.
For more than 5 years, each release was obviously a total nightmare because its set with bugs. There are different methods to set-up the software program depending on different machines. A user must trouble shoot problems and acquire it taking care of their system. Even after that, you can find still way too many work-arounds forced to use the application. Also, A LOT of bugs exist in each and every aspect of any area you might try to work in, its really terrible and keeps a person from making progress on music.
I tend not to recommend cakewalk products to anyone trying to find a DAW.
New releases are very beta-releases. Users may pay for a whole new version then discover bugs and post them within the cakewalk user forum.
This is basically poor solution to treat customers. After enough bugs are reported for the forum, cakewalk issues patches for that release and after the hotfix or a few then two additional updates, they it is known as done. This is where they need to be once the customer first buys it.
They cant release quality code since they dont know very well what real exams are.
Not certainly one of their employees is definitely an actual software tester, theyre all developers performing usability testing.

I have win 7 64 bit and cursor stops but playback can nonetheless be heard, plus the Session switches itself back in Audio sync From the Internal mode.

i dowloaded the demo this helps you, that stuff they deomonstrate isnt within, not only the trial version sucks, i couldnt even obtain the vst to function rite, configure the audio and midi a pain inside the ass, i installed the edirol sound card only problems, i did to use asio4 freebie and if you are attempting to load a drum wave file before it starts you cant handle the installation the program wont permit you to install wave file when you open this software, this can be junk sonar take your service and shove it down your AAAAAAAAA
