Last year I saw a variety of people posting about these fun New Years Eve Countdown Activity bags. I didnt have enough to implement them into our New Years Eve Party for 2011 but wished to make sure that I made some with this years party.
I loved the entire concept behind the adventure bags and thought it could be a great way to maintain the evening fun. We will often have a low key party together with the family along with their cousins. We play games through the night and just enjoy ringing inside the New Year in each others company.
The concept behind these Countdown Activity Bags is very simple. I took some mini party sacks that I grabbed from Hobby Lobby and glued some tags with clock faces with them. I have provided them for you to be a free download for anyone who is interested. Click here:
Then you merely draw the time hands on each bag to represent each hour in the evening you need to have an activity for that family and youngsters to do together. I started the countdown bags with the season 2011 at 5:00 pm and created one for any hour till 12:00 am 2012.
In each bag I added awesome activities to do about the hour. For example:
9:00 pm Make a New Years Craftconfetti, noise makers, hats, etc.
The above list is definitely an example of what you can do. I am not posting our true list as my children have been able to read my blog every once in awhile! There are so many indisputable fact that you could add into your bag that could make your party plenty of fun and make sure that you maintain your party guests guessing. I know my kids as well as their cousins will probably be excited seeing what exactly is in each bag.

I love this idea sadly, no person stays awake during my little family to toast the New Year maybe within a few years when the youngsters are bigger!. We celebrate gets hotter s midnight in Iceland, since they will be 6 hours in advance of us you can toast over dinner!

The simple truth is, I m never satisfied with anything. Not a single thing. I nearly make it happen but there s always something I think may be better. But, you can find only 24hrs in the morning, sometimes you have to cut yourself off although you may re not 100% satisfied.
Orman how do you build your middle glow so competent, only use brush white with overlay it comes down pixely around the edges ;
I work it to overlay and atart exercising . noise on the layer underneath. It helps somewhat.

I place it to overlay and include some noise on the layer underneath. It helps slightly.

A little more color brings it alive, several of text is unreadable a bit from the info part that shows name and date. particularly the date. Other than that it s suberb:P
