Unknowingly posted for your account? Really? Do you regularly look at your email? You should have gotten emails notifying you of any renewal within your subscription. It only takes minutes to visit links and opt away from automatic renewal or outright cancel your subscription. You might would like to call Symantec again and explain so what happened - but, legally, they may be under no obligation to issue reimbursement: How is it to know you: i will not be using the merchandise; ii apparently never look at the email - as you would surely have gotten email notices with their intention to renew.
