After updating 5 of my computers together with the new 2013 Norton Internet Security I had problems with 2 from the computers. However, I did see that I could downgrade both the that didn't work with a removal then re-install in the 2012 version. After that I was in a position to use my 2013 license around the 2012 version and I have two more working systems. I am uncertain what it is concerning Norton Internet Security 2013 but it usually have difficulties with several of my programs even with setting the Network firewall settings allowing its operation. Might should try different things next year.

Service and website are terrible. Ive attempted to renew twice, and both times were horrible. The first time, I tried to renew through my product. Went through the procedure, paid, and attempt to input the real key I was given just to have it not work. After contacting support services, I was told that the item no longer existed - though I just covered it. Customer service first got it resolved eventually.

Unknowingly posted for a account? Really? Do you regularly look at email? You should have gotten emails notifying you of an renewal of the subscription. It only takes minutes to click links and opt beyond automatic renewal or outright cancel your subscription. Second, and even more importantly given it may conserve your funds!: I just purchased the 2012 version of this system. From from the 2012 software, there is a possibility to update to your 2013 version without cost. Installing the 2012 version only took of a minute. Downloading and installing the 2013 update only took a few more minutes.

They let me know to call Microsoft tech support. Windows recovery disk also doesnt work. MS also cant help, in need of telling me to wipe my computer clean, then reinstall Windows 8. Finally, I was competent to uninstall NIS during Safe Mode. By the way, Windows 8 includes Anti-Virus which both Norton and MS still did not mention for me. I made certain that Windows 8 anti-virus was enabled and I havent had a challenge since.
