It s easier to make your personal mistakes than copy other people s. - Vladimir Horowitz
That s awesome. Only Chuck Norris could participate in it, though.
That s intense stuff. Sounds like Scott Joplin after 6 pots of coffee and also a large dose of uppers.
Chuck Norris didn t lose his virginity- he systematically tracked it down and destroyed it.
that may be the craziest little bit of music i've ever seen or heard. it gets nearly 12 staves at some part in the piece. i'm wondering if it can be possible if 6 pianists were to try out it? that could well be a feat play and also a great experience to find out.
If you wish to see the notes played within a keyboard, download VanBasco karaoke player You ll see. The composition is for two main PLAYER pianos, I couldn t feel that a human if not more could play this type of thing, so I did a bit of research and I determined it was composed for 2 player pianos. Anyways, it s crazy stuff!! Amazing don t you believe?
It s safer to make your own personal mistakes than copy another person s. - Vladimir Horowitz
some of these glissandos sounded like lasers from some type of arcade fun.

this is designed for player piano, not human playing.
If you have often seen Hamelin s Stockholm TV recital you will notice it within the end, it s a piano-roll piano looking thing. It s actually a really awesome piece. The only thing u should do is pedal like riding a bicycle
Great recital though, the Stockholm, lots of awesome performance/

Even so, I do expect Volodos to choose this up being a fun little encore.
I ensure that the lid within the keyboard is open before I start to experiment with. - - Artur Schnabel, after being asked for that secret of piano playing.
that is undoubtedly an insane piece. that could well be insane to determine performed.
that is definitely an insane piece. that can be insane to view performed.
Somebody incorporate some recording than it?
The midi is hilarious for the reason that fast glissandos could be seen as laser beams.
I have no idea, if I walked right into a bar and also this thing was playing on player pianos, I could well be tempted to acquire an axe out. Dont you discover it annoying??
Even so, I do expect Volodos to pick out this up like a fun little encore.
I made a decision to revive this topic from ancient history by posting an mp3 rendition in the piece under consideration. I have not heard worthwhile versions in this piece since those recordings of any player piano in tube or some other sites have finished crappy microphones and also the midi versions just sound bad. If you're interested, download and find out what this piece appears like using a modelled piano engine Pianoteq 2.3 on Sonar 8.

And now that you've so revived individual, I should mention that copies with the original ms. from the score can be obtained direct from us.
I think this is really a video from it being played on the piano. Im not sure though, since Im in the office and not in a position to listen to it.
Audio quality as video such as all I ve seen is very poor that this piece looks like it's merely noise.
Audio quality because video as with all I ve seen is indeed poor how the piece is apparently merely noise.

All the harder good reason to refer to a score,

The official language is English. As many members usually do not have English his or her native language, please write in proper English and steer clear of slang. Quite what any with this has about Hamelin s Circus Galop remains a lot less than clear if you ask me.
I possess a file on this song in mp3, and I reached it from Pianoteq 2.2. I don t determine you guys will enjoy it, but I think that this super-glissando, that s most of the problem of some files, around my file is better quality, make the sound of every note is usually better heard.

haas effect and after side compressor and side cut. This will be natural for mixing
Side lowcut is determined to lowcut delay in haas effect also while you dont want stereo on low and make use of haas you won't smear on low freq.
Changed knob type on Flip F-Tfalse-true so that it starts with it inactive false. Stereo will flip all over the place when you drag it half and over
2 patches for distortion guitars try a gain approximately 15 percent to 25 percent in your amp software, and alternate from there My chain for making use of these is- compression slight - distortion vst slight- noise gate - Gtr amp plugin - WOS III - compression - EQ.
Until the modular technique is available, we will need to stick with all the chain modules. And because everyone loves to have my main drums tuned to your root note i like using drum synth. like e-kick and e-snare in bitwig. Because they sound too basic for my likings, i created some chains to polish them quot;a little quot;. You quot;can quot; layer some oldschool drum samples or loops number one to give them more character but they may be meant to deliver a clean, generic heavy foundation to your dance drum kit.
The Kick is tuned from F to C just turn macro 1, also the Snare from 160hz to 320hz
quot;Polarity Ultimate Kick-Snare quot; are two modules for bitwig that can cause easy tweakable edm/dubstep/drum amp; bass kicks and snares. Demo video below, release soon, price: without any course.

All my sounds I manufactured for my track Oxymoron for KVR OSC81.
Because I couldnt find any init patch, I simply made one, but since it is not possible to export and import single patches/programms at Ultra Analog I ought to share it like a bank. I also put a vst preset to the zip file so that you also can place the init patch into the vst preset folder. The bank must be put in to the bank folder on the harddrive disk. You find it in case you simply click on manage on the GUI then on show files on the preset browser. Note that I switched off the filters plus the LFO with the init preset, you will need to activate all of this first by clicking for this very, very, tiny green button/light.
These instruments were used inside my OSC 81 entry.
Primarily section of The Penultimate Trilogy these IRs seems for being made for what this, being among the most affordable convolution reverb, function is for
Use it in appropriate relation of an chosen scale and tonality that grounds a composition in process, these IRs works as something much like sympathetic strings and introduce right into a send/return loop as youd which has a reverb, it is going to submerge your arrangement in a very pleasant mood of enhanced harmony
This is often a GUI skin for Poise VSTi drum sampler. It is called Decadence. It is inside of the 7-zip archive. Put the Decadence folder on the inside of Poises Skins folder plus it will be around within Poise.
I am contributing 15 custom patches that I designed with MUX, the monster, modular VSTi synthesizer by MUTools. Many of these were chosen on my track, Muckety MUX, which I submitted as a possible entry to your KVR One Synth Challenge 80. The set includes synth sounds and electronic drum patches. Enjoy!

Now includes 5 patches including piano, bells, and 3 others. Enjoy:
SkinPack containing the DUNE Black and DUNE White skins.
For Alphas retirement, I have uploaded a few 50 patches specifically to the full version. I spent time with such,
these are new and different through the presets. Since patches attract sales, I am hoping a few within the fence will begin.
Peter along with the Linplug team are excellent guys; and one from the few, very long time pillars of KVR. They deserve our support.
about 30ish presets, mainly psytrance stuff and odd little doodles while I was looking into the synth.
Ill update as I make more as time passes.
Synth, Pad, Piano. Fxp format Native for brand new test version
I am contributing 15 custom patches that I made up of Lokomotiv, the easy, but powerful VSTi synthesizer by Archetype Instruments. Many of these were utilised on my track, Gruesome Foreshadowing, which I submitted being an entry towards the KVR One Synth Challenge 79. The set includes synth sounds and electronic drum patches. Enjoy!
Here are a handful of patches for Lokomotiv, created throughout the KVR One Synth Challenge for September 2015.
Note that this can be a work in progress. Some from the kicks made using filter resonance usually do not work immediately not surprisingly, however they are very powerful once they do!
This a skin for Poly-Ana which has a flat/2D design no 3D elements except maybe laptop keyboards when a note is played.
The ZIP file includes two folders together with the skin at 2 different reolutions 1512x801 and 1200x636. For the bigger version a corresponding display should be taken Full HD 1920 x 1080. The skin features a custom mod source selection wheel but works best with all the drop-down menus.
The folder for your 2 different versions inside the ZIP file include sub-folders together with the quot;skin quot; folder and also a folder together with the Knob files created in JKnobman.
The skin was manufactured with Poly-Ana v1.3 Beta 6 which means you or a later version should provide.
Free Bundle, seven plugins forming a total fully functional system.
If youve created any banks, patches, drum kits, sample-sets, etc. that youd like to own featured here, please obtain the KVR page from the product you're uploading a bank for and visit its Banks Patches tab.

Wow, nice work indeed It was several months from your original post within this thread:
Key Grease? What is you now got one thing restored. I was wondering if you'll still re-applied key grease for every key or was the grease still in good shape so much so which you didnt must apply brand new ones to each key.
But anyways, well, you have yourself another dont show the restored RD-300s for your friend who gave it to may wish for it back after hes seen the excellent work learn about with it

The existing key-grease was all carefully preserved during restoration.
Amazing the amount braver suddenly you become regarding disassembly when it isn't your primary keyboard as well as your not risking money. The keyboard seemed to be completely unusable when I reached it, so I had nothing to lose. Im not confident that Id contain the guts to achieve this to my Kurzweil and fortunately it doesnt require it. I also think the Roland RD-300 is probably a much simpler design than most newer keyboards. Id love to view pictures of other keyboards disassembled to the level.
I jokingly told my mate Id sell back to him for 600, that's what I think is fair for parts 50 and labor. I know he doesnt want it to be back anyway though, while he purchased it originally for his kids with all grown and left the nest. Thus, it appeared stored in his garage. Im not sure what the laptop keyboard itself would sell for around the open market today.
Platonicsolid do you hold the manual?
PS: I saw prices from 670 to 900 US within the net!
I love my dark rosewood Yamaha CLP-240. Shes as honest with me to be a loyal dog but she sounds better.
Cool, thanks for your manual link. I do hold the original paper manual. Theres obviously a tremendous difference involving the 300s and 300sx, since the 300s do not have anywhere nearby the level of features shown inside 300sx linked manual. Still the 300s has some decent inbuilt sounds with sufficient effects to ensure they are interesting, together with weighted action is fairly good for a real simple design. Itll never replace the Kurz, but this time I have a very keyboard that I can take to some party without feeling like I need to constantly guard it as being I contain the few times Ive taken the Kurz out.
OK I know that this thread can be quite old, but thanks a lot thanks a lot many thanks!
I own a RD300s that I bought new in 1988, plus some keys didnt work anymore. It was my first digital piano and I purchased it extensively for quite some time, so I couldnt just dispose of it.
With the help in the pics, I thoroughly cleaned the within, and apparently cleansing the contact points within the membranes resolved the issue. Im taking the great old RD300s back to your rehearsal room recently!
Nord Stage EX, Yamaha upright piano, Roland RD300s
Restoring Steinways is really a lucrative business. I do not understand why anyone would restore a well used DP? In the end still it has technology on the day, and that is probably not gonna sound competitive with Rolands latest offerings.
Next, someone will restore an RMI or perhaps a Univox.
Loc: Vught, The Netherlands
I also own a 300s that I will never part with. I bought it in March 1990 and tried on the extender regularly until purchasing new digital.
In fact I havent played it since I bought the RD700NX in August couple of years ago and I was recently thinking just how much I would enjoy playing my newly learned pieces about it.
Despite the limited polyphony I never were built with a problem with it and loved the piano 1 tone on it and also the Harpsichord, vibes and clavi. Both EPs were acceptable too.
It was even dropped in 1998 by an idiot removal man who thought however, just take the laptop keyboard in for
I experienced a real problem getting used towards the very slippery keys upon it though.
RD 700 NX greater for that IMO.

Once again such as Piano One cutting the Max Volume actually INCREASES the gain. The plugin is too loud and distorts frequently when chords have some of notes, and cutting Max Volume can make it even worse. Please fix the max volume on these instruments for Logic users AU plugin. Your instruments are good otherwise, but I cannot use them in any respect due to the present flaw inside Audio Unit version. Its very frustrating, since they sound amazing otherwise. Cutting Max Volume should result in the instrument quieter, not louder.
Also, your instrument occurs as misspelled in Logic. It occurs as Orchestral Strin as opposed to Orchestral Strings.
Just like Piano One, this plug-in doesn't make sound on my own computer. Does anyone possess ideas
First of, thanks for your great plugin!
But I cant automate as well as save the settings with this VSTi in I hope this could be possible within an updated version, result in the plugin really sounds great.
Where should I install this? It isnt appearing in Sonar when I install it inside VST folder or elsewhere that Ive tried. Thanks.
The info graphic indicate a measure sequencer is protected, even so the AU version won't have one plus the GUI isn't going to reflect normally the one shown on KVR - can it be only inside WIndows version? Thanks!
I cannot be the sole person while using AU gain knob condition in Orchestral Strings and Piano One can I? Would a Logic user insert that turning along the Max Volume actually increases the volume? All of their plugins do this in this little system. I cant use them whatsoever because their audio output has already been clipping on large chords and there is no approach to reduce the gain.
I really wish Sound Magic would answer these concerns. Im needs to feel like our issues are falling on deaf ears.
Are any posters here utilizing the Windows version? If so, do YOU see a stride sequencer, and does your GUI reflect what Sound Magic posted above into their graphic? I prithee good sir?
Its not obvious, but you have to click about the panel that claims Basic Panel just over the center on the keyboard to determine the step sequencer.
Im a Windows user, and I start to see the image shown above as 1 of 2. I dont view the 2 of 2 image.
Hmmm! I see only both the of 2 - no such panel saying basic click for the reason that general area though I may. There seems for being a different version for your Mac. Which can be a shame, because that it was the step sequenceer function that prompted me to download. Many thanks for ones response Photoshare. A pity the developer won't appear for being interested within our thoughts.
The Mac AU is broken. The max gain, that is already way too high, gets LOUDER once the knob is declined. Its impossible to make use of this instrument in production without clipping, which sucks. I wish theyd fix this. It seems to affect almost all their AUs.
OK, yup - the website says that 95% from the features are WIndows-only. The AU is often a lame duck. Sad.
Sorry to state, this is usually a waste of 206mb. After the excellent Piano 1, I was expecting something comparable. Its badly synthetic, as well as a real dissatisfied. And they still hold the old 1.0 version on their site.
I cant even get Orchestral Strings to download. Piano One remains to be at 1.1 for Mac. Why the preferential strategy for Windows??
If youre using a Mac, dont even bother to download this pathetically amaturish hodge podge of the buggy Maize Sampler instrument. NEO Hybrid Modeling Engine, my a!
The samples truly must be ripped from various sources in true Chinese copycat tradition the organization is apparently located in Beijing the legato and tremolo patches are dry and filled with artefacts and noise, sounding like they've been lifted off damaged vinyl records, as the staccato/spiccato sounds are washed in recorded reverb and that is cut off which has a click in the event the sample runs out inside the higher registers.
The reverb doesnt work in any way, there isnt any sign of an step sequencer within the Mac 1.1 version it'd only make things worse, the Max Volume control represents a transparent and present danger for a hearing along with your monitors because it works inside an opposite way to your standard.
Im not planning to waste anymore time authoring this hogwash. Avoid it, at the very least if youre with a Mac!
Both piano one and orchestral strings are not any match for other free or inexpensive plugins that can be obtained. Indeed a total waste of space upon you precious drives. That said: everyone is free to produce his own are free of charge so try them and discover what you imagine
Please do Specifically your free superiors.
I could well be very interested to understand what other free or inexpensive plugins you believe are better than Piano One. I have Pianoteq Stage and Pianissimo, both purchased, but my favourite piano is Piano One I mainly play classical piano.
i never felt compelled to depart a review or possibly a comment about anything on here, but this thing looks like shit!!! aches and pains ? this so highly regarded?
Worked just great a month ago, Thought it absolutely was pretty cool. Now it only triggers randomly regardless of is sequenced.
So awesome. Thank you thanks a lot.:.
i cant realize why people think it is good, its unusable, same with piano 1 - soz:.
Not usable personally in Windows7 x64 FL Studio 10.
It doesn't save chosen presets so that as soon when you try to export a song it resets all presets to default and fucks up your complete tweeks BEFORE even rendering. That means it always renders with all the default preset, no matter whatever you set up.
The interface is worse than every VST interface Ive seen and Max Volume is progressing the exact complete opposite of what it should.
Really too bad as the sound of staccato and pizzicato can be wonderful.
The bad usability and bugs unfortunately get this to VST unusable.
Where would be the download for Macs?
I havent found any version of Orchestral String One compiled for Mac, rapidly informations for the bottom in the native page from the developer.
Until quite recently there were a tool intended to wrap as AU or RTAS the dll compiled for Windows. It was FXpansion. It doesnt exist anymore. And that it was not
God You may use another tool. And free! And excellent! Its a opensource tool that creates the same thing as made FXpansion. It is WacVST, distributed on Sourceforge, here:
Unfortunately like piano one the program is still Beta not simple to use. Its actually not too difficult to write software to point out itself for a VST folder employed by a DAW. Setup notes are sparse. It must be driving a great deal of budding artists crazy.
Where can I download 64-bit Version?
In fact theres not any 64-bit version and there isnt any Mac version as I said also just above. All is wrong within this page made through the developer on KVR.
If you visit this page in the developer, you will note that Orchestral Strings One exists only as VST 32-bit for Windows as well as in his page he makes mistakes ever since the application to download is not by any means a demo.
Incredibly beautiful! Far, far, far And developed in 64-bit native code! It is completely new uploaded just today but Ive already tested it also it has absolutely everything to generate you forget this poor and and pitiful Orchestral String One.
In 3.30 i had been download and today is time is incredibly implacablebut Im in the work along with 1 hour i am going home
SPECIAL THANKS TO AUTHORs FOR THIS PLUG IN.I LOVE THAT.

S cala is often a powerful software program for experimentation with musical tunings, like just intonation scales, equal and historical temperaments, microtonal and macrotonal scales, and non-Western scales. It supports scale creation, editing, comparison, analysis, storage, tuning of electronic instruments, and MIDI file generation and tuning conversion. All that is integrated in a single application that has a wide selection of mathematical routines and scale creation methods. Scala is ideal with the exploration of tunings as well as becoming familiar while using concepts involved. In addition, an incredibly large library of scales is freely intended for Scala and can provide for analysis or music creation.
G reat care is taken to produce Scalas functions and operations very general. The range of parameter values that commands accept is done as general as it can be. Often various forms of input are allowed. No arbitrary restrictions are created. Scales are trapped in a flexible format. Intervals may be entered and saved as either ratios or cents values and also be intermixed in just a scale.
C onstructing scales on your own is one of Scalas strengths. Kinds of scales that will be constructed with Scala include: equal temperaments, well-temperaments, Pythagorean meantone scales, Euler-Fokker genera, Fokker periodicity blocks, harmonic scales, Partch diamonds, Polychordal scales, Dwarf scales and Wilson Combination Product Sets. In addition, some command files is roofed to build other sorts of scales for example triadic scales, circular mirrorings, circulating temperaments, etc., as well as serve as examples.
Graphical interface. It incorporates the command line interface with the old console version but in addition provides dialogs for almost all functions. The remaining functions can provide by typing Scala commands.
Plays scale tones through the soundcard. Several screens allow different tinkering with tones of any scale through soundcards MIDI synthesizer or external MIDI instrument.
Command line interface that recognises 800 commands for scale analysis and manipulation. They are case insensitive and most may be abbreviated. In addition, the command syntax includes powerful features much like those of an programming language.
Extensive on-line help. The built-in help function describes every command in detail and as well includes useful home elevators other related topics. The help text is at HTML so you may view it that has a browser and print it. In addition, the top of the day function provides many useful hints and introduces features.
Extensible functionality through command scripts. You can create a script file containing Scala commands with any text editor, and execute it inside Scala.
Can capture screen output to text files. Exporting scale data with other music software, for example Csound, is easy. A pair of lexical functions is provided to convert program data to text.
Exports tuning data with a variety of synthesizers with the internal tuning table. You can save tuning data in the MIDI file or send it directly for your instrument or sound card. Supported tuning dump formats include a few:
Big Tick Angelina, Rainbow and Rhino softsynths
Dave Smith Instruments Prophet 6, Prophet 12 and Pro 2
HERCs series, Abakos Pro softsynths
Korg M1, M1R octave tuning dump

VAZ Plus, 2001 and Modular softsynths
VirSyn Cube, Poseidon and TERA 2 softsynths
Wusik Station, Wusik 8000 and Ravernator
Xen-Arts IVOR, XenFont and Xenharmonic FMTS
Several software synthesizers like AlsaModularSynth, Tobybear Helios, MAZ Sound VSampler, Orion Pro, VirSyn Cube, Cantor, TERA 2, rgc:audio z3ta, Cakewalk Dimension Pro and Rapture, Oblivion VSTi and ZynAddSubFX have adopted the Scala scale file format like a means to tune them rather than via a special tuning dump file. Theres and a do-it-yourself hardware synth: PreenFM2 frequency modulation sound generator
Other instruments might be supported through modification of the external data file, should the system exclusive data format is simple.
Not all synthesizers have microtuning support inside the form of your tuning table, or one with plenty of resolution, and therefore are not directly tuned by Scala. Hopefully more future synthesizers are going to be equipped which has a full keyboard variable tuning capability. Be careful to click here before you buy.
Flexible keyboard mapping. For scales containing more or below 12 tones per octave, you may easily assign scale degrees to your standard piano keyboard by making use of a keyboard mapping. Scala supplies one example set of keyboard mappings for scales of varied sizes that you may quickly adapt in your needs.
Can retune existing MIDI files. You can convert an ordinary MIDI file to become in any tuning via pitch bend commands or possibly a MIDI Tuning Standard tuning specification.
Can relay real-time MIDI. You play over a MIDI keyboard into a soundcard or external MIDI instrument and develop the tuning changed via pitch bend commands. This way it's not necessary an instrument with microtuning support in order to experiment with in a given tuning.
Can create MIDI files coming from a microtonal score. The score can be a text file which could be created through an editor or generated coming from a MIDI file by Scala. The format is described in Scala sequence extendable. The tuning is finished either with pitch bend commands or MIDI Tuning Standard real-time single-note changes.
Recognises over 2000 musical modes. You can check any scale to see whether or not this approximates a current mode.
More than 550 note naming systems inbuilt. Notes could be named and shown in a very consistent way with microtonal accidentals.
Recognises over 700 chords. You can check the occurrence of those chords in a scale.
Recognises over 450 rational intervals.
Recognises greater than 3900 regular temperaments. You can check the name by offering a generator and period.
More than 4500 scales available. Download these at no cost from this website, understand the Download page.
Reliable. Scala is written from the programming language Ada.

Congratulations on making it to part 10 with the Chord Tone Improvisation series! By now you happen to be definitely commencing to hear and improvise more creative jazz lines. I hope you have enjoyed the jazz piano lessons as well as each of the other improvisation lessons in my website and Youtube channel.
In this exercise we look for the final practical application on the concepts discussed at the beginning of videos. By practicing this endless eighth note concept you might be creating a strong outcomes of finding chord tones and effortlessly connecting them in meaningful ways.
Remember, it is only a fitness to help you familiarize yourself which has a way of improvising. These kinds of exercises are not designed to exist in the vacuum. You will want to start combining what youve learned here with concepts. I discuss this idea briefly inside video but feel absolve to send me a message when you have questions.
Keep in your mind, these exercises aren't exclusive to jazz pianists. All instrumentalists, even advanced ones, can reap the main advantages of singing and playing through these improvisation exercises. Remember to sing accurately and slowly through all keys. Rushing through each exercise is only going to add frustration after you are trying apply these concepts afterwards.

In this jazz piano lesson we consider applying the concepts weve discovered chromatics on the Jazz Blues form.
Keep in your mind, these exercises are certainly not exclusive to jazz pianists. All instrumentalists, even advanced ones, can reap some great benefits of singing and playing through these improvisation exercises. Remember to sing accurately and slowly through all keys. Rushing through each exercise will still only add frustration whenever you are trying apply these concepts down the road.

In this weeks jazz piano we take a look on the Jazz Blues progression and explain the differences relating to the traditional blues form and also the Jazz Blues form.
Keep planned, these exercises will not be exclusive to jazz pianists. All instrumentalists, even advanced ones, can reap the advantages of singing and playing through these improvisation exercises. Remember to sing accurately and slowly through all keys. Rushing through each exercise will undoubtedly add frustration whenever you are trying apply these concepts at a later date.
In this jazz piano video lesson we look at how you can practice the exercises weve learned thus far through other chord cycles. You needs to be able to learn and attempt to sing all ii-Vs, big ways and small triad embellishments through these cycles before continuing to Exercise 6.
This cycle it's essentially the opposite on the circle of 4ths. Try to think on the circle being a clock. If you move clockwise your going around the circle of 5ths. If you move counterclockwise you are going around the circle of 4ths.
This the first is fairly intuitive. You either ascend or descend through key centers by 50 % steps before you reach all 12 keys.
You can think on the key centers during these groups as of three diminished seventh chords.
Either find out a group of random key centers or choose them anytime while sitting in your instrument.
All of such techniques are demonstrated within the jazz piano lesson below.
Keep in your mind, these exercises aren't exclusive to jazz pianists. All instrumentalists, even advanced ones, can reap the advantages of singing and playing through these improvisation exercises. Remember to sing accurately and slowly through all keys. Rushing through each exercise will undoubtedly add frustration after you are trying apply these concepts down the road.
Your donations and purchases of sheet music help maintain the site running. Im an entire time pianist and teacher so every little donation helps. Thak you to your support!
