PictureIt/Digital Image Pro Ver. 9 was better made software. Version 10 made improvements on automating some tasks but made other fundamental functions work really badly: If you apply Red Eye correction, nearly all of times when attempting to increase the effect to accomplish a natural eye color, the application inserts such as a Black ring around the eyes!! I owned a couple of older versions on this program. I bought this becuase my older software wasnt appropriate for my new XP main system. I was very disappointed when I found Microsoft has dropped many from the functions including artistic edges and text enhancements including shadows. I loved these characteristics and found they recommended an upgrade to your Digital Image Suite. I thoguht I would try this, but I found you cant upgrade. You have to get the full version of Digital Image Suite with the full price. Ridiculus! I went ahead and purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements. I recommend you do too.
I had an older version of Picture It! and yes it had slightly different settings. I miss having the capacity to change the focus from the photo and discover the result on the watch's screen. It is important for many photos being more focused and others for being softened. Microsoft a great interface with Picture it 99. It was intuitive and projects can happen quickly. Digital Image pro 9 Which I upgraded to removed some on the key features from the former software.
