Downloadiind HD from resolution isnt for the menu as you would expect. You need to open up another sub- menu. Loading and converting files is slow despite 4GB of Ram during my computer
I downloaded Adobe PRE and Pinnacle Studio 14 Trail versions. Adobe keeps locking up-not perfect for someone inside the market for software. It also seemed not easy to learn and also the Instant movie feature was Mickey Mouse. Ive only tried it once to perform some cuts but I wouldnt call the interface intuitive. The trial functions are so limited to give this app a suitable try-out.
BIG FAT LIARS. The 15 day trial is NOT the only limitation. But,, its merely a 2G dl.

If youve ever used audio/video editors in past times, the Pinnacle interface will be very familiar for your requirements.
