On you will find 12 cantos of Srimad Bhagavatam but on you can find only 10. Why is the fact that? I searched on Wikipedia it said Srimad Bhagavatam has 12 cantos. Please clear this doubt. Did you forgot to upload a final two cantos or there have been originally only 10 cantos translated and explained by Swami Prabhupada ji?
They are cheating Prabhu. Srila Prabhupada only translated Srimad-Bhagavatam nearly Tenth Canto Chapter 13. After the Bhagavatam that ISKCON distributes is translated by another individual and the so-called Bhaktivedanta Purports are written by another person. After Canto 10 Chapter 13 there is absolutely no Prabhupada Bhagavatam. Srila Prabhupada did write the primary Canto of Srimad-Bhagavatam in India. He collected the bucks for the printing himself by selling his Back to Godhead magazine and receiving some donations from various important persons and businessmen. I believe the Gita Press gave Srila Prabhupada some donations towards his great mission of printing the Srimad-Bhagavatam but they also did not print it. Prabhupada printed it himself in Delhi.
It will not be that Prabhupada wrote the First Canto with the Bhagavatam twice. He printed the First Canto in India so however have something substantial to look at with him when he went along to the Western countries to preach. So when Prabhupada went along to the USA around the Jaladutta he took many cases of his Srimad-Bhagavatam with him and then on shipped more towards the US when he was well-versed there.

I am a aspiring to become a follower of Srila Prabhupada, that is certainly all. I am not just a supporter of someone else. I tried optimizing SB 9 Vol3 with Adobe Acrobat X: open PDF, ran tools OCR with option ClearScan for searchable text, saved as PDF standard.
From 372 MB it turned out shrinked to 29 MB, again with searchable text.
The Adobe Acrobat X trial version does the work, fully functional for thirty days.
The big PDF files are perfect as reference, but it really might be tough to open them at older or slower computers.

This book has lots of issues and wasnt really helpful in my experience throughout the length of my class. The authors type of writing isnt interesting to learn so its challenging to retain the info. Id find myself losing interest while mid-paragraph, start considering something else, just to realize Id finished 2-3 paragraphs together no memory of anything Id read. The authors are overly wordy and use a great deal of jargon words. They could easily reduce about half this content from each chapter and still support the important information. As evidence this, Ill reference chapter 4. I was studying it and about 50 % of way through I read a thing that I was certain Id read before. I flipped back to your introduction for chapter 4 on Page 121 and sure enough, they literally copy and pasted a paragraph on the introduction and place it in, nearly word after word, onpage 137 in the same chapter. They even placed it inside the middle of an paragraph and changed anything here or there making it look like it really is different information. The 2nd paragraph about the intro page starts So how common is online behavioral tracking? whereas the one onpage 137 starts So how common is web tracking? Everything after that's copy and pasted. I have no clue how an editor didnt catch this. My guess is changing the placement with the paragraph was one on the changes they made to have people to buy a whole new edition on the book, nevertheless they forgot to delete the area where that it was originally at. This excessive wordiness leads into problem number 2.

The items in this textbook are fine, however, the Kindle edition is really a nightmare. It is compatible with limited devices why inside the world would it not be compatible while using Amazon Cloud Reader?, as well as then it truly is extremely locked down. For instance, I loaded it in my computer in the office using Kindle for PC; I then experimented with load it on my small home computer, only to discover that it wouldn't allow me to do it at the office was enough to satisfy the license limit. I am a large fan of textbooks in Kindle format, but this book would be the away from it, it just isn't worth the headache. This book has a whole lot extra writing. I feel just like the roughly 600 might be compressed into about 100 pages. There is very much good sense stuff within. Then the very first three chapters are completely pointless 200 pages, the authors you must do outlining the chapter, then focus on what they outlined, then conclude, but wait that was merely a foreshadow, these are really likely to discuss that topic within a later chapter. I wont go into your elementary style visuals they have got that add zero value for me at the least.
If you could have to see this for class, skim through it or you happen to be going to waste a lot of time.

As almost every other reviewers already said, its quite a superficial book, all fluff no substance. Lots on the information is outdated. What can you do, its essential for class.
could honestly cut half the book but still get each of the main points across, a snoozefest with the highest order
