Corel Paintshop Pro X8 is usually a graphic editing software program that provides you with some powerful tools but with a fraction of the purchase price of Photoshop. As a caveat, Photoshop is additionally far more robust but a lot of that power will not be needed to the average user. The important thing the following is that the normal user doesn't mean a beginner. If you are not knowledgeable about how graphical editing programs work, youre going to have a very learning curve it doesn't matter what you use. For me, Corel is simpler simply because I dont need precisely what Photoshop offers. If I was doing advanced editing for just a photography company or magazine, then yes, Photoshop could well be for me.
The only reason I gave this 4 stars rather than 5 may be the installation. I have no idea about other users, but it had been a pain. Im not a novice to installing software. But when I attended set this up, it mentioned an interface where I had to include info to obtain a code only I didnt get yourself a code. I had to jump through hoops. I finally first got it figured out and installed but it absolutely was extremely annoying. Other than that, this can be a good program.

Deducted a star for badly behaved software.

Love it. That said, there is really a learning curve with this particular program. Do a favor and move through there tutorials. Then things will seem easier.
