This thing would like to uninstall programs on my small computer that conflict from it but wont inform me what the products are before uninstalling them. I cant even make an effort to install the application without first agreeing permitting it to own free entry to uninstall whatever it wants on my small computer. I have browse the horror stories from reviews from the previous version of whole process almost and am not thinking about experiencing them top notch. I think if you will find programs in conflict from it, how they should let me know WHAT EXACTLY those programs are before I accept uninstall them. Disappointing, I had hoped they might fix that issue before releasing another version. This should be beta tested before releasing it, especially using this type of kind of asking price! Would NOT recommend.

Im applying this on a Core i3, 3.4 GHz, Windows 8.1, 64 bit, 4 GB RAM desktop PC.
After reading some from the negative reviews, I was dreading not hard to install. Yes, it would have been a little buggy to start with, but spent some time working flawlessly ever since then. My first attempt for installation took 20 min, but didnt complete due to some message saying set up . was interrupted. So I tried again, these times choosing to NOT search for updates first. After installation, I then checked for updates under Help around the home screen where there were none.
I have a very couple Corel programs on my small PC, however they werent affected as other reviewers have mentioned.
No crashes, no locking high on anything Ive tried. Im very fond of miracle traffic bot so far, Ive used various Roxio products since 2004 and don't had complications with any of those.
The home screen is incredibly user-friendly. You employ a choice of frequent tasks to: Burn Data Disc, Burn Disc Image, Copy Disc, Burn Audio CDs, Create DVDs, Edit Video - Advanced, Copy and Convert Video.

This Roxio Creator NXT 3 tries to become a jack of most at a reasonable price but due for the top heavy and slow software it tends being frustrating and unreliable. Years ago Roxio used to be a great software to shed a DVD. I used to alternate between Nero and Roxio however its merely a waste of time.
This will be the basic version which you can use to create simple video edits and burn a normal DVD. For Blu-ray authoring you will need to upgrade for the Pro version which offers HDR photo editing, hard to get at on this basic version.
With Roxio Burn you'll be able to burn discs completely from your desktop. You can also create labels with provided templates.
Burn and Copy allows copying of discs yet not copy protected content so you are able to only copy non-copyrighted movies and content.
For Music you are able to rip your music CDs or internet downloads and make party mixes. It also enables you to rip audio from DVD. However, no allow ripping copy protected or encrypted audio track which means you cant download the soundtrack from a film.
There can also be a Photo feature that lets you do basic editing on photos, create panoramic images, create slideshows with soundtrack, sufficient reason for 3D you are able to turn your 2D pics into 3D.

The install alone was creating problems on my small Windows 7 Professional 64 bit gaming laptop so I tried to do the installation on a Windows 8 laptop. The install kept crashing my system and I was required to reboot. I burned some audio CDs by using it and also burned a number of video files into a DVD. I havent tried the editing features yet, I will try those and look when compared with some other popular software. However, from what Ive seen to date it doesnt beat Adobe Premiere or maybe Corel Video Studio.
