I just purchased Roxio s Easy VHS to DVD today and was excited to get started on getting footage together. However, when I installed the software program following the insert card s instructions explicitly, I ve found the USB capture device will not be being recognized by Windows. But I didn t surrender. Looking from the Device Manager, I could see that the unit was seen, but Windows didn t really know what it was, since there was no driver hooking it in. I clicked within the USB 2861 Properties, saw that there in truth, were no drivers and manifested itself Update Driver. I let Windows get the driver automatically, going against each of the instructions previous. Windows found the motive force But it warned me that it's Unsigned and this bad things can happen. Whatevs. It s been bad already. Let s make this happen. I clicked Proceed, and discovered Roxio Video Capture USB driver installed. W00t. Started up the Roxio Capture util and merely did an exam capture of some Indiana Jones thing I recorded when I was obviously a kid.
I hope which it continues to work flawlessly.

I hold the usb device plugged in to the back in the PC. For kicks and giggles i attempted all 4 usb input s on back and all of 5 on front and undertake and don't worked with the Capture Card.
Does the USB Device feel warm after connected to a USB port to get a short while?
