I ve become overwhelmed with software and software plugin choices. I own, Topaz Labs, Nix Collections, OnOne, another or two small programs, various actions, also, to LR5 and PSCC. Whew!!! I ve seen what Silver Efex Pro are able to do and that s why I bought the main Nix Collection. The LR presets will not compare to any from the aforementioned programs. I use LR for the beginning and for the end of photo processing. PS is over my head, even with using it for 5 years, but I put it to use to finish what Topaz, Nix or OnOne plugins start. And, usually turn out doing some small adjustments in LR, after things are all said and done for instance dodging and burning and adding a vignette.
So, what we re saying may be the LR beats all after all? I ve become overwhelmed because of so many editing programs out there too but I only own LR for the time being, it s sort of scary to uncover how many editing software are inside the market that I don t even dare to appear at the articles anymore.
