Could not record through computer as a result of hum. Asked for the help of Sony where there response were to access a website, so I didn't buy.

Exceptional. Thinking about purchasing the whole version.
I found it very intuitive. There was a small glitch in downloading the tunes into another venue, but overall I was pleased with all the results.

30-day trial wouldn't even last 1 month. Installed the offer on 11/23/2013 and also the trial claimed it absolutely was expired on 12/8/2013. Not sure I am happy to trust software coming from a company that cannot count to 30, especially with the retail sale price of the entire version.

I had one with the first versions when Sonic Foundry began, by version six I was recommending it for broadcast editing. For a radio/TV production department its handy.
In one word: Support. Since Sony took over the corporation, support in the product is nil to apathetic. I, personally, am still hoping to get a resolution on an issue starting noisy . 2012. At one time I was given a lot less than helpful advice on the way to resolve the situation which lead to your PC being rendered useless. I don't realize if there's a difference inside the quality of paid versus free support on something you get on day 1, and I would hope there would 't be, but every one of the support Ive received within the product continues to be less than satisfactory, and for the lower end of disappointed.
When dealing using a company you'd hope they are concerned with the impression supplies. The dealings Ive had with support are actually frustrating. Lastly, Sony carries a Product Suggestion link for the Sound Forge webpage for users to produce suggestions to help the product, or add tools which can be helpful. As much as I need to think these pages is read by someone at Sony, I dont view it as being helpful or supplying the user the idea they are investing within the product. Over the years I have submitted strategies for relative tools/products, as have other friends which use, simply to be ignored and unacknowledged. Again, it is just one other way Sony takes the confidence out from the product. As I mention, Ive been quite a while Sony Sound Forge, Vegas, and Acid user. But something has happened on the soul from the company where apathy for customers seems predominant. As much as Ive used Sound Forge for several years, I feel that inside future Im going to have to exchange signal of another product. Sony has lost my confidence, and patience. And on top of computer, they probably dont care Im disappointed. Its probably wise to find another product notebook computer supported.
You see I have sony acid music studio and I cant obtain that thing to record, so I wont trust sony.
If it didnt work from the trial version how come I even do it or take into consideration buying it? If sony doesnt remember that enough to present me a trial version that works why must I have confidence in them at all?

I cant see where it offers dubbing capability. I think the Sound Forge Pro has that but expensive. Trouble with multiple downloads along with the version you get. For professionals the Audio Pro or Acid is liable great. thirty day free trial
