With considerable pain, I give Andy Fields marvelous, somewhat spectacular book, a 4 star rating. I bought it in Kindle, then in paper. Kindle absolutely lacks the technology to offer it. I would rate the general Kindle experience just for this book around 2 stars. I will explain in a very bit. I practice applied statistics and teach introductory and advanced statistics classes for a university, and I can say without doubt this will be the best text I have ever employed for introductory to intermediate topics. It is the publication I would have loved to publish if I were smarter and wanted no life for quite some time - - I thank Andy Field for doing that for people instead. This single work could replace several other quality statistics books I have due to the comprehensiveness. It is almost an anthology of statistics, nevertheless, you should not allow the size from the book scare you off; it truly is easy to learn and even enjoyable. Examples are actually carefully compiled and definately will certainly keep the interest. Even students who say they've found some to be considered a bit crass in addition have remarked that it normally won't forget the examples since they're certainly novel.

I previously had having access to the older version on this book from the lab that I worked at, lastly decided to buy my own, personal copy. I form of wish that I had bought the older verison - that you seemed to be additional concise for the reason that it provided the necessary information while remaining grounded in interesting dialog. This newer version has substantially increased the number of dialog and entertainment so much that it now appears to be too much although I should explain that I dont now have that older version to check against the newer one - so my memory may very well be wrong. It makes that it is hard to actually get rid of the important information from all of the background.
The older version was great - go buy any particular one instead if you'll be able to find it!
