Dawn! I won t sleep tonight considering you with mice sneaking for your house! You need a cat or two! We experienced a mouse once, and I learned some amazing and awful! aspects of mice. Hi Dawn, We experienced a few in the mousey types invade our home recently. Carl were capture the miscroscopic beasts by having a cheapie mouse trap baited with peanut butter. Not sure if it will work on Southern mice they are often smarter then our Deer Mice nevertheless it s worth trying.

I once used mason jars to hold my dry goods the older kind together with the glass tops and metal rims. Having all things in glass jars was very pretty until I saw little black bugs walking around my rice jar. Turns out weevils can enter mason jars.
Nadine, I don t are aware that the weevils got from the jar my bet is they were eggs within the rice in the first place. I had weevil moths during my dehydrated bananas in 2010. They were inside the bananas before these folks were dehydrated. Then they hatched from the baggies. No holes within the baggies. I would've thought the warmth would have done them in, nonetheless it didn t.

I also planned to remind those of us who may have pets and purchase dry canine. Treat the dry food since you would rice, flour or any other grains which could contain bugs. Be careful in which you buy your pet s food if this s not for a nice clean grocery make certain there aren t any bugs floating the store or which the bags have zero holes or traces of bug or mice activiy. Also desired to add that in case your special-diet member of the family is very sensitive, it could possibly be good to hold his food with a higher shelf as opposed to regular food, so crumbs etc don t fall in. Probably not as big an arrangement with stored, packaged food as food using a buffet or something like that, but nevertheless maybe not a bad idea for just a super-sensitive eater.
Instead of shelf liners I use press and seal wrap on my own shelves. Super easy cleanup and it is possible to just peel it and redo it whenever needed.

We were built with a pantry moth infestation that lasted YEARS. Those critters are extremely hard to have rid of that some exterminators I called wouldn t even end up. Even that has a good exterminator and regular treatments, and constant vigilance, we d get less of any population followed by a different population explosion. Airtight containers were no match on their behalf. Sealed boxes of cake and cookie mixes and crackers were even breeding grounds. One day I pointed out that I had two cupboards where we never seen moths or larvae. One was the appliance garage where our toaster sat and the ones moths must have been consumed by the toast crumbs. But did you know what else was at both those cupboards? My TEA BAGS! We threw everything out once more, got a new few boxes of inexpensive tea and placed a box in each cupboard. We waited a few days before placing new food inside cupboards but left the boxes of tea bags in every one. Problem solved. There were a couple of strays that flew around for any couple of days but they also didn t get a place to breed. Our exterminator even told some of his some other clients that it could possibly be worth trying and it worked for every one of them. I still keep a paper cup of teabags in most cupboard and possess never had problems with virtually any insect after that. In fact, they often hitch a ride home with my better half who works in hardware store the spot that the bird seed gets infested, but they also don t live long once they enter. I m assuming it s the tannic acid/tannins within the tea warding them off.
I m not nearly 72 and drop things frequently like large shampoo bottles in this little toes. Found some colorful ketchup and mustard bottles together with the squirty end position the shampoo, conditioner, bath gel and other things I had smacked my toes with. They work great, simple to use, hold and squirt.
