I too am possessing this Error issue the visible difference thought is I have Windows 7 Pro on my small home pc and yes it installed for their perfectly. I am not trying to set up on Windows 8 at your workplace. It keeps giving me one saying that I employ a corrupt Outlook PST file so it needs to exchange signal of make this work. I even tried copying the CD with a folder on my small hard drive and installing from that point. Same problems.

Their cust support response if you ask me was ver 6 doesnt operate in Windows 7. They want that you buy ver 8 for 100. They wont honor the faulty ver 6 that had my NeatDesk Scanner that I bought via on July/12/2012.
