I have used The Print Shop regularly since it had been DOS based this also is, undoubtedly, the worst incarnation in the program I have ever used. It closes unexpectedly, it can be sluggish in doing just about everything, it doesnt maintain margins or borders, you cant center a line and left align the remainder of the text in a very text box, it's almost impossible to come back and evaluate what font you used inside a selection when you cant highlight it and will also show you. This was shipped fast from AMAZON and was for a cheaper price than my local office supply store. I have purchase several versions of Print Shop over time and each new edition has been a noticable difference until this. Most in the functions dont work, no support and endless frustration taught me to be ask for just a refund which took quite a while to acquire a response nevertheless waiting for it to demonstrate up on my debit card. Stick with Version 23.0 - - works well.
I am so surprised there won't be reviews for this method, unlike the variety of reviews for TPS 3.0 and 3.0 Deluxe. If there was clearly an option for no stars, that can be my preference. It is so unfortunate a once wonderful and intuitive program may be released that has a high likelihood of absolutely no testing because of the developers. Frustrated by Print Shop 23s problems under Windows 7, I ordered The Print Shop Deluxe 3.0 direct from Broderbund. The redesign work is wonderful; it acts as being a Windows 7 native. Except for just a few things:
In windows 7 64-bit, it crashes about three or four times every hour. Even something as simple as start a fresh project yourself can allow it to become crash. I never did bring even one project to completion before losing it in the crash.
In Windows 7 32-bit, it won't instead it offers a spurious away from memory error message about a few times every hour, and isn't going to complete the operation. This is on the 4 GB machine broke and alone else running, and just one project open!

Giving it a print command closes this program and it wont start properly again with no system reboot. Broderbund/Encore developed a severe mistake by releasing whole process almost in such a poor state. They say theyre working away at I wouldnt hold my breath waiting for that cure!

One time I been able to open a blank project and in some cases managed to import one file picture engrossed but that had been it! As soon as I attempt to import any graphic images, all I could are you getting was a server error. I was can not open any headline text, so I aimed to enter plain ol text then I couldnt edit it in any respect. After reading other reviews, I havent even experimented with contact customer care. Maybe theyll eventually provide updates/fixes, but I wont hold my breath and I certainly wont be purchasing any Print Shop software inside future. Should have sought out reviews before purchasing the product. It is just not usable personally in Windows 7 64 bit. One installation will not even start up - crashes before it even can open. The other installation pops up, but crashes repeated through an unable to access memory error. Many with the functions also don't work and printed results are weak - it prints a blurry, pale version in the project. Have searched for updates beyond Version 3.0.5. Theyve got nothing to date. Versions from the 3 years ago at the very least were workable. This one will not be.
I purchased this for download upon release. It has become nothing but frustrationg. I have loved my previous editions but this really is so bad. They keep releasing updates, but something else fails. They are good about giving an answer to emails, even so the frustration isnt more than worth it. I am planning to find another thing.
This program may be good when the many bugs there are a lot of are solved. They must have tested their product before releasing.
I purchased Print Shop 3.0 deluxe from Encore for my new computer containing Windows 7 Operating System64 bit. It downloaded but won't install. I tried all from the alternative settings having difficulties shooting when I have a this program is just not compatible message.
I ever done it on 2 additional computers which may have windows 7, same issues. I installed it upon an old laptop that I don't use with Windows Vista and it also worked there but I do not want to make use of that computer. I emailed support triple. The 1st time was on Aug 26th your day I made the web purchase. I recieved a result to that 1st email asking me for additional detail today Sept 22. I wonder if it can take another month for my next response. You have to choose the priviledge of fast support for any program which includes obvious compatibility issues dispite being touted as complient with Windows 7. Shame for this company, save your cash, delay until they are compelled to fix the software program before you spend your hard earned dollars.
This would be the first time I had purchased software by using a download and will probably be the last. It never worked! I could open it; but, once I tried to include a picture, it crashed. I tried numerous times it doesn't help. I did a reinstall after which I did a repair about the install; neither worked. It will not be like I am a pc illerate, I have already been a computer instructor. I thought this could be a nice and program for my kids to create projects. Well it became a thought. AND yes I do have a whole new, nice, fast computer with lots of RAM and dual processors, a lot of hard drive space. I am bummed this hadn't work.
